The little thing flew to the top of my head, still shaken, and clutched my hair tightly, refusing to come down. Meanwhile, my attention was drawn to the pile of things Sikaro had dumped on the ground.

"What are these?"

I asked curiously. The things on the ground looked like a pile of junk—broken weapons, damaged armor, all gray and utterly unremarkable. Had Sikaro just gone to the front lines to collect scrap?

"These are weapons recovered from the battlefield," Sikaro replied. "They were originally meant to be melted down and reforged into new equipment for the soldiers. But I found something interesting among them, so I figured out a way to bring some back."

Sikaro's words immediately surprised me. So this guy could actually do something useful besides causing trouble and being funny?

At that moment, Sandora, who was examining the weapons and armor, raised her head. "No wonder you didn't put them in Personal Space. The Abyssal Aura inside them is indeed rather disgusting. Still, it's interesting that this strange metal has accumulated so much Abyssal power without being completely corroded."

These pieces of equipment were used on the battlefield for so long and endured the fiercest fighting, so naturally they became tainted with an astonishing amount of Abyssal power. If they were ordinary materials, they would probably have long since been completely transformed into decayed, highly destructive toxic matter.
