When I woke from my sleep, everything before my eyes was dim. The room was filled only with faint energy radiance, the basic lighting that automatically appeared when someone inside woke up. Outside the window, however, there was not the slightest bit of light. The slight chill against my body made me realize something. Feeling around, I indeed found the doll girl who had somehow climbed into bed beside me and wrapped herself into a dumpling, sleeping in a terrible posture. I yanked hard on the blanket and shook the Girl out, then muttered at the scene beyond the window, "It's really dark outside."

"Ha?" Suigintou replied groggily.

"What do you think about this darkness in front of us?"

"...It's the middle of the night, idiot!"

I sat up and looked at the thick darkness beyond the window.

"There isn't even an aurora in the sky. Something feels off." I casually grabbed the doll girl beside me, who was rolling around and stretching. "Come outside with me and take a look."

"No, I'm sleepy." Suigintou hugged my head and smacked it twice, but her protest was ineffective. Anyone who flew around in the middle of the night instead of sleeping, ended up hanging from the chandelier for two hours, and finally had to ask for help deserved no sympathy.
