Rescuing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? Richard frowned slightly after seeing the new mission released by the system.

He knew that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver definitely existed in this world, but he hadn't expected that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would now be held captive by the Hellfire Club.

Are they trying to threaten Magneto? After reading the mission details, Richard's first reaction was that the Hellfire Club wanted to threaten Magneto through Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

"You don't welcome me joining the card game?"

Gambit asked Richard.

Hearing Gambit's words, Richard closed the mission panel and replied calmly, "Has anyone ever told you that your smile is quite greasy?"

What? Gambit had thought Richard just didn't want him to join the card game.

He hadn't expected Richard to actually criticize his smile.

"Greasy? I've never heard anyone say that, I only know that many women like my smile."

After saying that, Gambit even raised an eyebrow at the female dealer dealing the cards.

The female dealer dealing the cards wasn't the kind of sexy dealer often seen on scam websites; she was only slightly better looking than an average passerby.

Seeing Gambit raise an eyebrow at her, the female dealer ignored him and instead asked Richard and the other gambler if they wanted to continue the card game.

Clearly, the female dealer wasn't the kind of young girl who would be easily charmed by Gambit's greasy smile.

Richard nodded, indicating for the card game to continue.

The other gambler did the same, choosing to continue the card game.

Discovering that neither Richard nor the female dealer gave him much face, Gambit threw in the chips to join the card game.

Just like in the previous card games, Richard didn't use his superpower.

Although he didn't know if Gambit was using his superpower, he didn't plan on using his superpower to cheat in such an insignificant card game.

Time passed bit by bit.

Less than twenty minutes had passed.

The other gambler had already lost all his chips, leaving only Richard and Gambit playing against each other.

When only he and Richard were left at the card table, Gambit suddenly asked Richard, "You also received an invitation?"

An invitation? Could it happen to be an invitation from the Hellfire Club?

Upon hearing the invitation Gambit mentioned, Richard's first reaction was an invitation from the Hellfire Club.

He suspected the Hellfire Club immediately, partly because the system's newly released mission mentioned the Hellfire Club.

Another reason was that he remembered the Hellfire Club in the movie had a secret base in Las Vegas.

If Gambit didn't have the ability of Mental Isolation, he would definitely use Telepathy on Gambit.

But unfortunately, Gambit happened to possess Mental Isolation.

Although he couldn't determine what invitation Gambit was talking about for the time being, he didn't show any surprised or curious expression, and replied calmly:

"I don't think I need to tell you."

Hearing Richard's answer, Gambit's tone became displeased.

"Kid, I don't think I've offended you, have I? Don't be too arrogant at such a young age!"

"Is he still a young person if he's not arrogant?"

Richard said to Gambit.

After Gambit left, he sat in the chair and waited for a few minutes.

Finding that no one was willing to come and gamble with him, he sighed helplessly, picked up the chips, went to the exchange window, and exchanged the chips for cash.

Then, he left the casino with the more than one hundred thousand cash he had won.

After leaving the casino, Richard went straight to the famous Caesars Palace Hotel and checked in.
