Hearing his words, Pietro and Wanda frowned at the same time.
Just as Pietro was about to ask another question, Richard spoke up.
"Ask whatever you want later. There are other mutants imprisoned here. Save them first."
"Okay!"
Pietro replied at once.
The institute's staff and guards had all been frozen by Telepathy. Without much effort, they rescued the other mutants from their cells.
After getting everyone out, Richard ignored the unfamiliar mutants and said to Pietro and Wanda, "Where are you planning to go next?"
"Going home?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Pietro slowly replied, "We don't have a home anymore."
Hearing his answer, Richard continued, "Then follow me for now."
Pietro and Wanda nodded immediately without any hesitation.
At that moment, a blond mutant who looked to be in his early twenties came up to Richard and said, "Can I follow you too?"
"I'm a loyal fan. I'm a premium member on both the website and the forums, and I even have a tattoo of you."
As he spoke, the young blond mutant rolled up his right sleeve, revealing the tattoo on his arm.
It was a small but exquisitely detailed tattoo.
The image showed Richard sitting atop the wreckage of a Sentinel Robot at the Los Angeles Branch, with Masamune planted beside him.
After seeing the tattoo on the man's arm and the ingratiating smile on his face, Richard said flatly, "Get lost!"
Though he did not raise his voice, both the blond man displaying the tattoo and the other mutants instinctively took several steps back, feeling an indescribable, overwhelming pressure.
Richard paid no further attention to the mutants and said to Pietro and Wanda, "After I destroy this place, I'll take you away."
"I'll help!"
Pietro replied quickly.
"Fine."
