The crimson figure slammed into the supply ship with a thunderous crash.
The hull shook violently. Piercing alarms rang throughout the warship as the operators were thrown every which way. Some crashed into the control panels, their heads split open and bloodied.
"Hold steady! Hold steady!"
The captain roared himself hoarse, gripping the handrail tightly with both hands. But before his words had even left his mouth, the second wave of attacks arrived.
A crimson giant claw struck the starship, tearing the sturdy alloy hull straight apart.
Scorching magma poured in through the breach. Meeting the frigid air inside, it kicked up steam that filled the sky. Amid the shriek of tearing steel, Crimson Sky Ape's massive body forced its way into the ship, its dark red eyes sweeping over the terrified crowd within.
"Alien beast! The alien beast got inside!"
"Open fire! Open fire now!"
Several guards raised their energy guns and fired wildly. The beams struck Crimson Sky Ape, but only left a few shallow scorch marks on its scales.

That gaze did not belong to an alien beast. It was more like a human looking at a few noisy ants.

Crimson Sky Ape suddenly let out a deafening roar. Terrifying soundwaves and a powerful blast of will swept out. In an instant, the warriors inside the starship clutched their heads and screamed. Blood poured from their ears, eyes, nostrils, and mouths as they fell to the ground, shrieking in agony.
Those too weak were killed outright by the shock.
Crimson Sky Ape no longer paid attention to the fallen Mechanical Empire soldiers. Its gaze landed deep within the ship's hold, where rows upon rows of metal crates had been stacked neatly.
