"Th-this is it? It's dead?"
Harry had finished vomiting as well. When he turned around, he saw the Troll lying motionless on the ground, looking utterly dumbfounded.
"Could it be pretending to be dead? I've heard these monsters are all very cunning!"
"Perhaps other monsters are like that, but not Trolls." Dylan's voice was flat.
This was Dylan's first proper use of Dark Magic. The feeling of channeling that much magical power left him somewhat intoxicated.
Although with his current magical power, even after mastering Max Level Spells, he still couldn't unleash the true strength of Dark Magic.
Even so, he had still casually thrown out three spells and directly killed a Troll!
"By Voldemort, Dark Magic really is useful."
Dylan walked forward.
He pushed open the doors of the stalls one by one.
In the third stall, Dylan found Hermione, who had already passed out.
"Enervate!"
Pink Starlight Particles shot from the tip of the wand in Dylan's hand, covering Hermione, who was pressed against the door.
A moment later, Hermione's eyelashes trembled lightly. She slowly opened her eyes, her consciousness gradually returning. The first thing she saw was Dylan standing at the stall entrance, along with two heads poking in from either side.
"Am... am I already in heaven?"
"Don't worry, Miss Granger. Considering the Sharp Tongue persona Ron assigned you, you might go to hell after you die."
Hermione: (.`)...
"Hey! Dylan, how can you say that!"
The head on the left immediately lifted up, glaring angrily at Dylan.
The head on the right wore a pair of black-rimmed glasses and also raised itself.
"Dylan isn't wrong. Aren't you going to apologize, Ron?"
Ron's cheeks flushed bright red. His eyes shifted awkwardly toward Hermione, who was still somewhat dazed.
Soon, Hermione finally came to her senses.
Supporting herself, she stood up. "What are you doing here? Hide quickly! I ran into a Troll just now!"
Harry immediately said, "Don't worry! Dylan already took care of that Troll!"
"What?" Hermione was stunned.
At that moment, Ron's face, already as red as a monkey's backside, finally relaxed.
He moved his lips hesitantly and said softly to Hermione, "I'm sorry about what happened this morning."
Hermione was stunned again.
She had just gone through a life-or-death chase with a Troll, so Ron's apology no longer affected her much.
"You two wait here. I'll go up and see if I can find a professor."
Seeing that Hermione was fine and merely frightened, Dylan gave her a few words of reassurance, then told Harry and Ron to look after her.
He himself walked out of the underground classroom.
Because he had killed the Troll so quickly, no one outside had noticed that a battle had taken place here.
He went up two floors but didn't see any professors.
"Could they all be on the Fourth Floor?"
A Troll had suddenly entered the school, and they had also encountered Professor Snape hurrying toward the Fourth Floor along the way.
Dylan guessed that many professors had gone to protect the Philosopher's Stone.
Sure enough, just as he passed the corner of the Fourth Floor, a deep shout suddenly rang out.
"Who's there!"
Dylan stepped out. "Wait, Professor! Don't cast anything!"
When Professor Snape, dressed in black robes, saw Dylan, he couldn't help freezing for a moment. His expression immediately darkened, and his thick black brows drew tightly together, like two entangled Black Snakes.
A pair of cold, piercing eyes shot out from beneath them.
"At a time like this, instead of staying in your dormitory, you actually came here?"
"Sigh! That's a long story..."
Dylan let out a deep sigh and was just about to explain, but when he saw the impatience Professor Snape was showing, along with his increasingly tense and stern expression,
he immediately changed his words. "I'll keep it short."
"Hermione disappeared today. After hearing that there was a Troll, Harry dragged Ron and me along to look for her."
"Then we happened to run into you on the way. But since we were looking for Hermione, we didn't greet you, Professor."
"After that, we ran all the way to the bathroom in the underground classroom, where we happened to encounter that Troll trying to hurt Hermione."
"Then I killed it with one Incendio. That's why I came out to find a professor and report what happened."
"But I didn't run into a single professor on the way, so I figured you should be on the Fourth Floor. I could only come here first."
As Dylan continued speaking at length,
Professor Snape's sharp, hawk-like eyes instantly widened. A rare, unmistakable shock flashed through his black pupils.
"What did you say?"
"Ah?" Dylan paused. "Do I... need to tell you again, Professor?"
Snape's Thin Lips pressed into a straight line, his gaze fixed intently on Dylan.
"You said that Troll has already been killed by you?"
His brows furrowed, the corners of his mouth dipping slightly as though he were judging whether Dylan was telling the truth.
"Yes." Dylan nodded. Then, after glancing at Professor Snape's expression, he suddenly put on an innocent smile.
"Well, Professor, since I was the one who found the Troll and dealt with it, the materials on its body..."
The trembling in Snape's black eyes grew even more intense.
What exactly had he heard?
A first-year Young Wizard had dealt with a Troll, and instead of showing the slightest fear, he had even come looking for him to claim credit and ask for the Troll's corpse as materials?
"How did you kill the Troll?"
"Professor, didn't I just say? I burned it to death with Incendio."
Dylan answered honestly.
"Of course, it might also have been dealt with by Diffindo, but its body was already burned black, so I couldn't tell."
Professor Snape's brows knitted tightly together as his cold gaze swept over Dylan from head to toe.
Dylan glanced behind Snape.
"Professor, are you guarding the Philosopher's Stone?"
"!!!"
Professor Snape's cold, deep eyes widened again, and he was shaken once more!
"You..." His Thin Lips parted slightly. He wanted to say something, but the words caught in his throat.
A few strands of greasy black hair slipped down over his forehead, loosening the lines of his perpetually tense face and revealing a rare moment of discomposure.
"How did you know about the Philosopher's Stone?!"
Dylan blinked. "Harry told me. Wasn't it Harry who went to Gringotts with Hagrid to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone?"
"Last time, Peeves chased him all the way here. Oh, right, he also said he encountered a Three-Headed Dog."
Professor Snape's eyes narrowed instantly. "Harry? A Three-Headed Dog?"
He felt his eyelids twitch violently twice.
"That reckless, idiotic, damned Potter!"
Professor Snape suddenly turned around and strode forward, his steps hurried and heavy as his black robes whipped out with a rustle.
"Let's go to the underground classroom!"
