Chu Xuanao is the sixth son of Emperor Gan, Chu Tianxiong, and Consort Rong, Bai Feiyan of Jiangzhou's Bai Family. His maternal relatives include Bai Yi, Bai Feihong, and Bai Feiyu. 2 4

At court, Chu Tianxiong enfeoffs him as the Prince of Qin and grants him Hanshan Prefecture in Youzhou as his fief. Though initially shocked by the decision, Chu Xuanao comes to regard his removal from the capital as an opportunity to establish his own foundation. 1 2

The Myriad Heavens Reward System activates shortly afterward, giving him access to System Space, lottery draws, and summoning. His earliest summons establish the Dragon Guard Manor and bring Yuan Tiangang and Ghost Servant under his command.
