Background
Before serving Prince Qin, Zhu Wushi was known for a scheme in which he killed 108 martial arts experts and absorbed their internal energy. His cultivation and strategic ability made him the leader of the summoned Dragon Guard Manor, a fifty-thousand-person intelligence organization distributed across Jingzhou, Taizhou, and Youzhou. 3
Upon Chu Xuanao's decision to contend for the throne, Zhu Wushi pledged to clear obstacles in his path. He became one of the prince's closest and most reliable subordinates, combining intelligence work, political enforcement, and direct battlefield command. 3 10
Dragon Guard Manor
Zhu Wushi commands Dragon Guard Manor's personnel and oversees its intelligence network.
- Dragon Guard Manor was summoned with a complete force of fifty thousand members and an existing industrial and intelligence structure across three provinces. 3
- He employs covert operatives such as He Ming, one of the Manor's Seventy-two Earthly Fiends. 56
- Under his direction, the organization expanded throughout Youzhou, pursuing Blood Lotus Sect members and Great Feng spies. 236
- He uses intelligence not only to identify enemies, but to shape political action, as shown by his exposure of the Wang Family's ties to the Blood Lotus Sect. 57 61
Personality
Zhu Wushi is composed, analytical, and intensely loyal to Chu Xuanao. He evaluates political forces pragmatically, dismissing gifts and flattering words as meaningless unless they are backed by genuine submission or utility. 60 61
He is also ruthless in executing his prince's will. In Hanshan Prefecture, he adopts a strict policy toward resistance, treats collusion with hostile forces as grounds for extermination, and uses public displays of force to establish authority. 55 62 71
Despite this severity, he recognizes useful talent and intelligence. After interrogating Yu Huo, he values the captive's analysis and proposes using the channels of the Blood Lotus Sect and the Boss's organization to place agents in Great Feng. 113
