Arc 1The Hand of Argus
Diakum exposed the Awakeners' Cult, helped stop Sarkir’s demon invasion, and learned that the Dark Titan planned to claim Argus’s World Soul. He secured fragments of the World Soul for the Eredar to carry as Argus Hearts, while Velen and Kil’jaeden prepared for the Titan’s arrival in thirty days.
- Diakum warned Archimonde that Sarkir and the Awakeners' Cult were plotting a coup, then gathered allies and trained five young guards while playing the factions against each other.
- Diakum survived an attempted poisoning, exposed Archimonde’s role in the cult, and went to Sarkir’s stronghold as their conflict erupted.
- Archimonde killed Sarkir’s decoy, but Diakum killed Archimonde, and Sarkir then unleashed demons through the Fel Well, and Diakum awakened his Holy Light powers to fight him.
- Diakum and Malderan disrupted Sarkir’s summoning ritual, and Velen purified the Fel Beam before Diakum fell into a coma.
- After recovering, Diakum questioned Sarkir, learned of the Holy Stone in Krokuun, and warned Velen and Kil’jaeden that the Dark Titan threatened Argus’s World Soul.
- Diakum reached the Holy Stone with Jaide, Governor Hutton, and his companions, then contacted Argus and learned that Sarkir had turned to Sargeras after losing hope.
- Diakum persuaded the Argus Star Soul to scatter its will among the Eredar, received the title Hand of Argus, and ordered the fragments made into Argus Hearts.
- Diakum began preparing the fragments while Velen and Kil’jaeden learned that the Dark Titan would arrive in thirty days and made plans to investigate and confront him.
