The war beyond Azeroth's celestial body was no less intense than the mad flames of battle raging within the world.

The fleets of the Argus Restoration Army, the Illidari hunter ships, and the Consortium's Defender vessels had now joined forces. Under General S'fraelx's command, they were engaged in a deep-space artillery duel with Kil'jaeden's demon fleet in the heart of the Azeroth Starfield.

Both sides had reasons they could not retreat. Driven by their own convictions, they turned this sea of stars into the cruelest battlefield.

Every few minutes, crippled warships exploded. Light's Judgment exchanged fire with fel main cannons; cruel Lightforged torpedoes crisscrossed with demon super-cannons; Lightforged and demons fought boarding actions amid barrages of gunfire. All of it intertwined, destined to create a "warship graveyard" renowned throughout the stars.

Yet just as within the world, Kil'jaeden had thrown in the power of the entire Twisting Nether, directly giving the demon fleet an almost irresistible numerical advantage.

Fleet warfare, a unique form of war that demanded composure and technical skill, made it difficult for any individual to suddenly erupt with power. Faced with demon starships vastly outnumbering her own, S'fraelx had racked her brains to maneuver and delay them, yet she still could not halt the demons' massed advance.
