"Fallen One?"
Bai Zhi's gaze swept over the tiny Flesh Buds swaying in the wind on the other man's left arm, and he frowned slightly.
"Or you can call me a Fallen Species. Call it whatever you like. As you can see, I'm no longer human."
Looking at the Flesh Buds on his arm, Lin He seemed exhausted. He simply sat down on the road paved with White Bones.
"I was once a Player like you, brought here by that bus to undergo the trial. But I couldn't save up enough Ticket money, so I was forced to remain here for Seven Days."
"The longer you stay here, the more your body mutates into this?"
Bai Zhi narrowed his eyes.
"You're a Player too, right? Then open your Attribute Panel. If you remember your previous Sanity Value, you'll find that it's slowly declining."
Lin He's face remained expressionless.
"In a place like this, what gets consumed is Sanity Value. Once an ordinary person's Sanity Value is exhausted, they'll mutate into a Monster... just like that Deng Yaowen you saw earlier."

Silently opening his Attribute Panel for a look, Bai Zhi stared at the Sanity Value marked "???" for a moment before quietly closing the panel again.
"...That's right. It really has dropped a lot."
"As you can see, in order to survive, I ate the food here."
Lin He raised his hand.
"This place is far more eerie and bizarre than you imagine. Everything we've seen so far is merely the tip of the iceberg. It's slowly Devouring my mind. I can feel my thoughts being subtly changed. Before long, I'll probably fall completely."

"It's just Flesh Buds growing out of your arm. That isn't a big deal. If you
