Fang Cheng uncovered the Truth Society’s ties to the mermaids and trained underwater, strengthening his skills while helping Lin Chuqiao and Pan Wendi escape Li Chengjun. As the Sea Festival approached, Lin Chuqiao warned of a massacre, the Society imposed martial law, and Fang Cheng entered the sea to attempt a final breakthrough.

• Fang Cheng followed the mermaids from the Training Camp Base and discovered hundreds gathered beneath the cape, then captured Wang Zongwu and Wang Zongwen and learned they served the Noah Organization.
• Fang Cheng connected the mermaids to the Truth Society and trained underwater, mastering the Breathing Technique and advancing his Pile Stance and Push-Ups.
• Fang Cheng learned Lin Chuqiao had come to Yong'an Island to approach a target, then rescued her and Pan Wendi from Li Chengjun’s team when they were pursued.

Fang Cheng’s training in the Abyss led him into a violent clash with the Truth Society and Li Chengjun, after which he returned to the Eastern Capital. He helped Wen Xin awaken from a coma and resumed training and work, while strange events linked to the Black Rain remained unexplained.

• Fang Cheng advanced his Meditation and Breathing Technique in the Seafloor Rift, awakened Spirituality Fire, and developed True Qi while the Truth Society prepared a ritual and Noah Organization moved against it.
• Luo Lie attacked the Truth Society’s cavern as Li Chengjun’s team captured Feng Kehai and sent divers to the rift, where they found Fang Cheng among glowing bones and mermaids.
• Li Chengjun’s hunters fired on Fang Cheng, but Fang Cheng killed the attackers, synthesized Qi Gong, gained authority over the mermaids, and fought Li Chengjun’s forces at sea.
• Fang Cheng sank the fleeing ship and escaped the police response, while Zheng Hongxin used the Masked Man’s reputation to keep the Truth Society’s survivors in line and Luo Lie retreated.
• Fang Cheng left Yong'an Island with Lin Chuqiao and Pan Wendi, returned to the Eastern Capital, and learned that his maternal grandfather’s surgery had gone smoothly.
• Fang Cheng discovered that Wen Xin was comatose, entered her Subconscious World with Lin Chuqiao’s guidance, and helped her wake after she revealed she had used her ability to pray for her mother.
