The two sides clashed in an instant.
In terms of individual strength, a single Titan Mech was not much weaker than a standard Temple-Class Honkai Beast.
But... two fists could not beat four hands, and even a hero could not stand against a crowd.
Jormungandr carried a wide variety of Honkai Beasts in enormous numbers. Once the first wave was wiped out, new Honkai Beasts would soon charge at the Titan Mechs below.
The first batch to drop consisted only of small- and medium-sized Assault-class, Ballista-class, and Chariot-class beasts. The Honkai Beasts that fell afterward only grew stronger.
By the time the third wave of Knight-class Honkai Beasts had been killed, the fourth wave that landed consisted entirely of Temple-Class Honkai Beasts. Behind the vast horde of Temple-Class beasts, the massive silhouettes of Overlord-class Honkai Beasts could vaguely be seen.
With each mech forced to deal with several Temple-Class Honkai Beasts—or even Overlord-class ones at once—Anti-Entropy's Titan legion quickly fell into a disadvantage.
The unstoppable Honkai Beast legion battered the Titan Mech legion back again and again.
As the endlessly pouring Temple-Class Honkai Beasts consumed vast amounts of energy, Jormungandr's enormous body began to gradually shrink.
Crack! Crack!
After finally spitting out two Honkai Emperors to cover its retreat, Jormungandr—now only a quarter of its previous size—swiftly turned around. After swallowing the reactor core used to produce Honkai energy, it twisted its body and burrowed underground once more, until its already faint fluctuations vanished entirely from the instruments' detection.
Just then, Peilin Griffin pulled a small suitcase out from the console and took out an exquisite little remote control, blowing the dust off it.
"Beep—Coordinates confirmed. Identity verification complete. Missiles ready!"
"I'll use this batch of Honkai Beasts to bury you heaps of scrap metal with them!"
With that, Peilin
