Background / History

Himeko served for ten years as a Valkyrie and was formerly a member of an Assault Team. She is its only surviving member; her experiences include fighting Death Soldiers, mechs, enemies, and Honkai Beasts ranging from lower classes to Emperor-class threats. 172

By the time Xina arrives at St. Freya, Himeko is an A-Rank Valkyrie, Hyperion captain, and instructor of Valkyrie combat. She brings Xina aboard the Hyperion as a presumed survivor of the Singapore Honkai eruption, then becomes her teacher after Xina joins the academy. 11 13 14

Personality

Himeko combines a forceful battlefield manner with genuine concern for her students. She rapidly assumes command during Honkai incidents, personally takes on dangerous delaying actions, and remains protective even when facing enemies far beyond her rank. 11 12 69 176

Himeko is dispatched to investigate a sudden Honkai-energy fluctuation alongside two students. She arrives aboard the Hyperion, drives off a Honkai Emperor, rescues Kiana's group, and brings Xina aboard as a survivor. 1 11

When a suspected Herrscher attacks the Hyperion, Himeko holds the enemy at bay until Theresa and Durandal can intervene. Her objective is not to defeat the Herrscher herself, but to buy time. 11 12

St. Freya Instructor

Himeko introduces herself as Xina's Valkyrie combat teacher and oversees her placement into the class with Kiana, Mei, and Bronya. 13 14

She supervises Xina's assessment and simulated combat session. Though impressed by Xina's instinctive whip technique and ability to suppress multiple Honkai Beasts, Himeko privately feels overshadowed by her student's natural talent. 25 26

Battle Against Sirin

As Hyperion captain and a former Assault Team member, Himeko confronts Sirin directly. Using armor enhanced by Sirin's own energy, she temporarily restrains the Herrscher and enables the Hyperion to fire the Moonlight Throne. 176

Sea of Quanta Negotiation

At the Sea of Quanta Eye, Himeko agrees to Xina's condition to stop her from destroying the passage. She then leverages Xina's desire for approval and attention to persuade her to help Kiana and the others. 211 212

Xina later returns Kiana to Himeko as payment for helping test Hypnotic Incense, along with a car. Himeko is left confused by Xina's motives but immediately takes responsibility for Kiana's safety. 214

Korosten Defense and Capture

During humanity's last stand at Korosten Town, Amber Two appoints Himeko commander of the Theseus and its attached battle group. 428 429

Himeko leads the Theseus into combat, destroys aerial Honkai threats, and fires the Moonlight Throne-type main cannon against a Flesh Reaper. 430

After Guard Honkai Beasts board the Theseus, Himeko fights 3609 in the command room, attempts to signal her crew to escape, and is captured when the ship is overrun. 432 434

Captivity Under Xina

Xina meets the captured Himeko personally, boasting of her power while Himeko continues to ask after Kiana and Mei. 436
