Background / History

Huo Yuhao first appears outside Shrek City as a timid grilled-fish seller. He offers food to Chen Ming, unaware that Chen Ming has come to take the opportunities fate had intended for him. Sky Dream Ice Silkworm favors Huo Yuhao, while Electrolux identifies him as the one fated to meet him; nevertheless, Chen Ming ultimately deprives him of both opportunities. 39 40

Desperate for a soul ring, Huo Yuhao absorbs the Wind Baboon's roughly forty-year ring. The wind attribute conflicts with his Mental-attribute Spirit Eyes, leaving him unconscious and permanently altering his eyes. He awakens as a Soul Master with unstable bloodlust and an obsessive desire to kill those who bullied his mother. 41 43

Tang Ya recruits him into the Tang Sect, and he enters Shrek Academy through the sect. He quickly learns the Tang Sect's ultimate techniques, including the Purple Demon Eye, but his volatile temperament and mutated martial soul lead others to fear he may become an Evil Soul Master. 44 46 174

At Shrek, Huo Yuhao challenges Dai Huabin despite their disparity in cultivation. He uses wind blades, agile movement, a Soul Tool crossbow, and his active first soul skill to overwhelm his opponent through deception and close-quarters pressure. 47 48
