Structure and Functions
- The God Realm exists in a special dimension with a vastly different flow of time from ordinary planes: one day there equals one year on Douluo Star. Its temporal and spatial properties originally concealed it from the Cosmic Will. 261
- Time and space are foundational to the realm's existence. The loss of the Time God Position destabilized its temporal origin; the destruction of the Space God Position ultimately caused the realm's collapse. 4 261 266
- The God Realm Central Hub is the realm's key administrative instrument. It supports governance and lower-plane intervention, though its ability to reach lower planes was greatly impaired after the Time God Position's destruction. 4
- God Positions require temporal and spatial attributes to function within the God Realm. As more God Positions exist, the relevant authority is divided among their holders. 240
- The Seven Element Gods and Seven Deadly Sins Gods each possess a formation capable of temporarily producing God King-level combat power, though neither group consistently held long-term influence in the God Realm Committee. 240
Governance
| Institution / Position | Known details |
|---|---|
| God Realm Committee | The realm's ruling body. At one point it retained five seats; the Good and Evil Twin God Kings were absent. 215 |
| God Realm Central Hub | Formerly controlled by Tang San. He relinquished it under pressure from the God of Destruction and God of Life. 61 |
| Joint Central Hub governance | Management was transferred to Rong Nianbing, the God of Emotions, and the God of Destruction's side; later, Rong Nianbing and Zhou Weiqing used its support to temporarily wield characteristics of God Kings. 61 215 216 |
| God of Space | A First-Rank God whose spatial authority was indispensable to the realm's stability. He was associated with the Dragon God's former faction and later supported Chen Ming through trials. 240 261 |
History
Time God Position Crisis
The God of Death detonated the naturally condensed God Position of the God of Time, a First-Rank God Position that formed part of the God Realm's foundation. Tang San had never located the position despite controlling the Central Hub, while the God of Death had found and temporarily fused with it before its destruction. 4
The detonation created the greatest chaos in the God Realm's history. After a year and a half, Tang San had only barely sorted out its chaotic energies, while the Central Hub could no longer easily extend its influence into lower planes. 4
The crisis intensified conflict between Tang San and the God of Destruction. The latter blamed Tang San's interference in lower realms for the God of Death's resentment and monitored Tang San closely; the two clashed twice. 4
Central Hub Dispute
The God of Destruction and God of Life forced Tang San to relinquish the God Realm Central Hub, arguing that he was no longer suitable to govern it. With the two acting together and even former allies suspecting him, Tang San accepted a transfer of control. 61
Later, the newly ascended Zhou Weiqing inherited the God of Destruction Position. Alongside Rong Nianbing, he became one of the figures positioned to benefit from Central Hub support and potentially advance toward the God King realm. 215
Conflict over Douluo Star
As Chen Ming's repeated reincarnations and actions on Douluo Star drew the attention of the Cosmic Will, the God Kings cooperated to sort through the Time Mist and target him. Tang San, the God of Destruction, Rong Nianbing, and Zhou Weiqing used the Central Hub's support during this effort. 216
The God Realm Committee grew increasingly concerned that the Genius Battle and the convergence of fortune could allow Douluo Star to become a god-level plane and escape the God Realm's control. The God of Destruction feared that losing Douluo Star would weaken the God Realm and obstruct further advancement by its gods. 246 247
The God of Space complicated this conflict by continuing to assess and aid Chen Ming despite the risk of investigation. His support was partly driven by his ties to the Dragon God's former faction and his belief in the potential of the recovering Silver Dragon King. 240
Descent and Collapse
After the Time Mist dissipated, five God Kings—Tang San, the God of Destruction, the God of Life, Zhou Weiqing, and Rong Nianbing—descended upon Douluo Star to confront Chen Ming. 261
During the ensuing battle, Chen Ming used the Gate of Reincarnation to create temporal-spatial turbulence, which was especially dangerous to the God Realm and gods dependent on it. 262
Chen Ming later self-destructed the God of Space Position while breaking through beyond Level 150. With both its temporal and spatial foundations damaged, the God Realm collapsed; the God of Destruction and God of Life, beings formed from its destruction and life origins, dissipated with it. 266
Consequences of the Collapse
- God Positions anchored in the realm began dissipating or became unreachable for gods outside it. 267
- The Good and Evil Twin God Kings, who were away in a lower plane, lost their connection to the God Realm and their ability to return through their God Positions. 267
- Nearby god-level planes and outside forces prepared to seize the former lower planes of the collapsed Douluo God Realm. 267
- A century after its destruction, Chen Ming planned to open a new God Realm rather than restore the old one. 270
