A Few Words

I've written 1.2 million words for this book, and the plot has reached a crucial point. I don't know why, but I just want to say something to my readers.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to writing books. I started this book on a whim; I thought the idea was pretty good, so I started writing. As I wrote, I found that the results seemed to be going well, so I started writing a complete outline and character designs.

However, I was clearly not good enough at handling long stories, and I didn't follow the traditional formula of "feel-good" novels. Many people criticized my original plot as boring, and I have to admit that I was very discouraged at that time.

I often think that if I had written those plots in a different way or with a different approach, things would have been much better, and I wouldn't have fallen apart like this—but after thinking about it, I decided to stop thinking about it and just tell the story that I had already envisioned in the first place, so that the readers who remain can have a good ending.

Because of this idea, I've been writing a novel that I originally planned to finish at 1.2 million words, instead of hastily putting together an outline and throwing out the plot.

My goal in writing this book is simple: I hope my story will be appreciated, and ideally, I can make a little money. If we consider my initial goal, I've achieved it.

But people are inherently greedy, and when my grades were good but my writing went awry, my mindset started to have some issues.

As subscriptions dwindle and comments dwindle, I must admit that my enthusiasm has been severely dampened—but this is my own writing, so I have to accept it.

However, thoughts keep popping up—if I rewrote a Harry Potter fanfic, I wouldn't make these mistakes again; if I could go back and revise the plot, maybe I could retain many readers...

Just then, a lot happened to me, and I was in a very low mood. Many thoughts popped into my head—maybe I should just end it quickly, or maybe I should just leave it unfinished since not many people would watch it anyway...

The air pressure had been low for a long time, but a massage after going out fixed it...

Mediocre people trouble themselves.

I'm getting ready to write the main plot, so I'm organizing the outline and maybe asking for some monthly votes... By the way, wouldn't readers reading on other websites consider giving me a little motivation?

Please help the children; I want to get a premium badge.

Otherwise, I wouldn't dare to speak loudly when chatting with those big shots in the author group—it would highlight my humility.
