Voldemort's Furious Rage
In the gloomy manor, Voldemort was placed in a specially raised armchair, curled up in his swaddling clothes like an ugly snake-faced baby, his eyes filled with gloom and anger.
He had actually received news of the Returners long ago, but due to the special circumstances and his physical weakness, Voldemort did not come here immediately to reclaim the loyalty of his servants.
He arrogantly and self-righteously believed that as long as he stood before Barty Jr. Crouch., the latter would recognize him and feel sorrow and regret for his previous foolish behavior.
However, Voldemort never expected that Barty Jr.. would still be so engrossed in the story Sean Wallerup had woven for him. This once most fervent and loyal servant, this Death Eaters's confidant who would find satisfaction even in kissing his own shoes, couldn't recognize him?!
He even dared to spit on himself?!
At this thought, Voldemort's thin chest heaved violently, and he couldn't suppress the murderous intent in his heart.
Beside him, a short, stout man in a plain robe sensed his master's anger and confusion. The man didn't even dare to raise his head, fearing that Voldemort's wrath would affect him.
"Squeak—" The door was pushed open, and a male wizard with a cold face walked in. He had a bright red bulbous nose, wore glasses as thick as the bottom of a wine bottle, and his messy, greasy hair hung on his shoulders. He looked like a perverted scientist often seen in TV dramas.
"Dark Lord— " he called out to Voldemort, revealing a set of yellowed, bad teeth, his tone lacking in respect.
Voldemort, with his back to him to hide the gloom and anger in his eyes, said in a deep voice, "How is it?"
The bulbous-nosed wizard chuckled nervously, "Ha—this is troublesome. That Mr. Crouch has mastered Occlumency very well."
Voldemort scoffed, "I don't care about any of that. I only need the most authentic memories. I don't care whether he lives or dies."
He was extremely annoyed with Barty Jr..
The bulbous-nosed wizard licked his lips excitedly. "Of course I know, of course I know... but wizards with such powerful Occlumency are rare. Mr. Crouch is a very good test subject. I want to keep him, hehehe—it would be a waste to turn him into an idiot."
The bulbous-nosed wizard's tone was filled with a perverse excitement.
Voldemort snorted impatiently, "I only want the memory... If you can do it, it's yours, and you can experiment on it however you like."
"Since the esteemed Dark Lord has said so, then I will not stand on ceremony."
The bulbous-nosed wizard rubbed his hands excitedly. He had come here to find an excellent test subject, and the subject's owner had already agreed, which thrilled him.
Shortly after the wizard left, the short, stout man standing next to Voldemort quietly walked to the door, opened it a crack, listened intently, and then turned around with a look of horror.
"Great Master, Crouch ... Crouch's scream..."
He swallowed hard, his eyes filled with panic.
Crouch's agonizing screams even pierced through the underground prison, sending chills down the spines of anyone who heard them.
"Shut up, Wormtail," Voldemort said coldly.
"Yes, yes, great master."
"You good-for-nothing coward..." Voldemort said with disgust.
Wormtail wished he could lower his head to his waist. He hunched over and quickly walked back to Voldemort's side, standing there humbly.
Barty Jr.'s cries of pain lasted for a long time before subsiding, and then the bulbous-nosed wizard returned to the room.
"What you want, Your Majesty the Dark Lord— " The bulbous-nosed sorcerer's face was stained with blood, but he didn't care. He was just excited and impatient.
Wormtail quickly went over and took the Memory Bottle from the other person's hand. He glanced at it carefully, then immediately lowered his head again.
Unlike normal memories, the memories in that Memory Bottle gave off a weak feeling, as if they were about to dissipate.
Their method of extracting memories is probably different from that of normal wizards... Wormtail swallowed hard.
Voldemort nodded in satisfaction, then snorted coldly, "He's yours now."
"Thank you for your generosity, Dark Lord." The bulbous-nosed wizard chuckled, pumped his fist like a child, and then quickly left the room.
He was going to see the spoils of war whose "ownership" had been transferred.
"Wormtail," Voldemort snorted.
"Yes, Master..." Wormtail immediately sprang into action, moving the Pensieve over and shaking the memories into it.
With a few gentle stirs of the wand, a blurry image began to emerge in the basin, and the Wormtail immediately lowered its head and retreated to the side.
Voldemort laboriously extended his snake face, then sank into the Pensieve.
When he reappeared, the scene before him had changed.
Voldemort glanced around grimly. He recognized the place, of course; it was the Malfoy Family manor.
"Hmph." Voldemort's temper flared up again.
He signaled his return, but because that bastard Wallerup changed the Dark Mark, only a few people received the message immediately.
Those few Death Eaters acted as a bridge, contacting the Death Eaters branded with the "Wallerup Dark Mark," which took considerable effort.
But Lucius Malfoy and his wife have not responded, and the two seem to have stayed in the manor and refused to show themselves, which has made it impossible for the other Death Eaters to contact them.
"A cunning fox..." Voldemort snorted.
Then he looked at the scene before him.
Barty Jr. Crouch Jr., who was much more handsome and healthier than he is now, was kneeling on one knee, his face full of fervor, mixed with the pride of being summoned by his master alone.
That eternally loyal gaze, that unwavering conviction—once upon a time, this was the expression Barty Jr. would only make when facing him... Voldemort's chest trembled violently.
Right in front of him, Barty Jr. was swearing allegiance to another person!
Not particularly tall, wearing a long, black robe, and with an arrogant gaze and a gloomy smile that mimicked his own.
That handsome yet slightly childish face was one that Voldemort would never forget.
Sean Wallerup!
Voldemort's rage had reached its peak, and at this moment he even wished that this was not a memory.
That way, I can directly annihilate that despicable and hateful kid Wallerup!
But memory is memory; it will only faithfully reproduce everything that happened at that time.
"Master, please give me your orders. I will complete all the tasks you assign me, at any cost!" Barty Jr. knelt on one knee, his voice filled with boundless fervor.
Sean turned around, a mysterious smile on his face.
"Barty, my friend, do you think that I only talk to you privately when I have something to ask you to do?"
Barty Jr. hesitated for a moment, but then immediately shook his head. "No, Master, any instruction from you is my highest honor."
Sean looked at him calmly, then laughed in a voice familiar to Voldemort.
"Ha-ha-ha, Barty, when did you learn to lie to your master?"
"No, I have absolutely nothing to hide from you," Barty lowered his head even further, his voice filled with urgency, "I just want to prove my loyalty to you."
Sean stroked the Occamy, letting the dangerous, Magical Creatures swim all over his body.
"Barty, did you have a little disagreement with Bella before?" he asked casually.
After a moment's hesitation, Barty Jr. nodded. "Yes, I think Bella acted a bit impulsively during the mission."
Sean laughed. "That's not a big problem, you know... Ha, my friend, are you Envy of Bella? Envy she's the first Death Eaters I've ever met alone?"
"Yes, yes, Master..." Barty Jr. gritted his teeth and finally admitted it. Then he immediately explained urgently, "Master, I am more loyal than her. There is no servant in the world more loyal than me."
Looking at this memory, Voldemort wanted to grind his teeth to pieces.
Instead of blaming Barty Jr.., Sean sighed.
"What's wrong, Master? Did I do something that displeased you?" Barty Jr. asked anxiously.
"Of course, Barty, Barty, Barty— " Sean called out three times, with a hint of disappointment and emotion.
"I... I..."
Sean interrupted Barty before he could say anything, then bent down and helped himself up, much to Buddy's astonishment.
Barty, who had straightened up, was still in a daze and hadn't reacted yet.
"Barty," Sean began, his tone still carrying pride, cruelty, and gloom, but lacking some of his haughtiness, "You have indeed disappointed me somewhat."
Barty Jr. swallowed hard, while Voldemort, watching all this, remained expressionless.
"Do you know why I'm disappointed?" Sean asked.
"I... I..." Barty Jr. was a little uncertain, but his eyes were filled with an unbelievable expectation.
Sean patted him on the shoulder. "My friend, I thought our relationship wouldn't need another conversation."
Barty Jr.'s eyes widened, filled with surprise and pride.
What I'm thinking is true... His throat was heaving.
The great master went to Bella first, not because he trusted Bella the most, but because he felt that, after his return, among the restless Death Eaters group, Bella was the first subordinate he could completely trust.
Voldemort, disguised as Sean Wallerup, sought to win people's hearts, including Bella, a loyal and powerful Death Eaters, and to give her confidence.
Bella deserves to do this.
Am I not worthy?
No!
Lord Voldemort did not see himself as a servant or subordinate; he saw himself as a friend he could completely trust!
That's why he didn't come looking for me first!
The other Death Eaters will always be Voldemort's servants, but only he himself, in addition to being a servant, also has the identity of a friend!
Yes, why say so much to a friend?
Lord Voldemort trusted himself so much...
Barty Jr.'s breathing was heavy with excitement, unaware that his expression would appear so glaring to Voldemort at another time.
"Bastard, bastard..." Voldemort's eyes were practically on fire as he looked at Sean.
Sean spoke casually, an attitude that was exactly what Barty Jr.. longed for.
"Barty, do you remember what we talked about before?" Sean raised his eyebrows. "Only you know my past. We both had the same cowardly, incompetent, and despicable fathers. We both had the same great goals... Only you, Barty, when I see you, it's like seeing my former self."
Barty Jr. was both excited and moved. He wanted to kneel down again, but Sean made him kneel down instead.
In his eyes, fanaticism had completely overwhelmed reason; one could even say that Barty Jr.. had willingly allowed fanaticism and loyalty to take over his mind.
To be recognized by the great Dark Lord he had been chasing was something Barty Jr. had always dreamed of!
Voldemort, witnessing all this, widened his eyes, his anger mixed with a hint of panic.
Why, why does Sean Waller- Wallerup know what he and Barty Jr.. said to each other? Why does he know about his past?!
Dumbledore and Grindelwald, those two old fogies, naturally knew about his origins, but how could a third person possibly know about his conversation with Barty Jr..?!
This news made Voldemort's expression turn completely grim.
In his memory, Sean was very satisfied with Barty Jr..'s complete fanaticism, and he could now confidently carry out his brainwashing plan.
"My friend, I called you out because there's something I need to tell you. Do you understand what I mean?" Sean said in a deep voice.
"Yes, Master!" Barty Jr. immediately lowered his head. "Even if it means my death, I will protect your secret."
"It's not that serious," Sean waved his hand casually. "It's just a bit of a hassle."
Barty Jr.'s face immediately hardened. "Master..."
Sean's expression darkened. "This is not something you can handle... Barty, you know I've been preparing to take over Wallerup's body."
"Yes, Master, you have succeeded now as well," Barty Jr. said immediately.
"Yes, it was a success... but it also left some problems behind," Sean's face darkened. "No one in this world has studied the soul as thoroughly as I have, but the soul is still a profound mystery."
"Master, you have mastered a power that no one else can."
Sean sneered, "Of course, of course... but there's been a problem... a small piece of my soul has been separated from me..."
"What?!" Barty Jr. was shocked, then became anxious. "Master, what do you need me to do? Should I go and help you find that fragment?"
"No, Barty," Sean said slowly, "Those Soul Fragment that were separated... you can think of them as impurities in my soul. They were troublesome, but I brought them into it."
"I separated the waste out of my body..." Sean said calmly.
Voldemort's body trembled as he watched all this.
No wonder, no wonder...
"Wallerup, Wallerup!" Voldemort roared angrily.
