"Miss Daisy, your brother hasn't lost his life yet, so you don't need to be so anxious..."
Snape's voice was still gloomy. He thought Daisy was unsettled because of Harry's condition.
Daisy raised her head and forced a smile at Snape. "I know. I'm fine... I'm just a little..."
It was perfectly normal for a young girl to feel helpless and lost while her family was threatened by death, so no one paid it much attention.
Their current task was only one: do everything they could to preserve Harry's life.
Harry's vitality and soul were draining away at an eerie pace. The professors had no idea how to handle the situation and could only resort to crude methods, such as replenishing his vitality and even stopping the flow of magic around him. Their greatest help came from the two rare potions Snape had provided, which effectively slowed the deterioration of Harry's condition.
However, Harry would not be able to hold on much longer at this rate, so everyone was waiting for Sean to return.
Seeing that Daisy was not doing well and unable to help for the moment, Hermione gently pulled the girl away from the bedside and comforted her in a low voice. "Don't worry. Sean will be back soon. He'll definitely have a way..."
Perhaps because she had someone to lean on, Daisy softly rested against Hermione and nodded.
Snape handed her a potion and said coldly, "Drink it."
After drinking the potion, Daisy felt a little better. Leaning against Hermione, she stared blankly at her brother as he suffered.
She felt that something was strange about herself.
The family member she cherished most was hovering between life and death. She truly felt sorrow, anxiety, and pain. Harry, especially, had always doted on her since she was little.
