"Professor Dumbledore?!" Hermione and Daisy cried out in delighted surprise.
Like Grindelwald, Sean merely curled his lip.
This was not a real-time visual communication. No communication magic capable of piercing the barrier between life and death existed in this world.
This had to be a message Professor Dumbledore had sent.
Sure enough, Professor Dumbledore's pearl-white image merely smiled ahead. He could not "see" the people in the room.
"Please forgive me for being unable to offer you a pleasant greeting after so long apart. I do not know how much magic this Phoenix Tail Feather can sustain, so let us get straight to the point—though I cannot hear your voices."
"Before I died, I noticed some hidden secrets. I tried many methods and investigated many places, but I could almost be said to have found nothing—"
Sean glanced to his left and clearly saw the gravity on Grindelwald's face.
"I... orchestrated all of that. On one hand, I wanted to bring Ariana back—Ariana whole and complete. And leaving Fawkes like that was unfair to him as well. On the other hand, I could uncover more secrets and verify my conjectures."
"Please forgive me for not elaborating further—Sean, I need you to listen very carefully to what I am about to say. Remember every single word firmly in your heart."
Hearing that serious tone, Sean unconsciously frowned.
Professor Dumbledore's image looked into some unknown distance, his expression heavy. "This entire world, including the living world, the Realm of Illusion, and the underworld—in wizards' understanding, the living world is the starting point, the Realm of Illusion is a transit station, and the underworld is the end point—but we were wrong... The underworld is indeed the end point, but the Realm of Illusion is the true beginning of the entire world..."
