The severed iron mask fell to the floor. Sean touched his mouth, then expressionlessly waved his wand.

Throughout this, a Muggle worker holding his tools had been standing in Sean's tiny room, yet the man showed no surprise whatsoever.

Sean handed him the only flower in the room's vase.

The man tucked the flower into his breast pocket, gave a polite bow, and left with his tools.

Spells could not deal with the magical iron mask, so Sean had made use of Muggle tools. Just as he had expected, no matter the Timeline, wizards were always proud and backward. They always overlooked the wisdom and greatness of Muggles.

Of course, Sean worried that Hermione, who had provided him with this Portkey, would not be able to find him. So he had not left the shabby inn called Park Villa, merely using the Imperius Curse to control all the staff and guests here. The worker had also been brought in by one of the employees.
