Sean had just told the three of them everything that had happened to him, naturally leaving out the parts involving the system.

"That was a Timeline completely different from ours. And judging by the circumstances, the world may have already become vastly different before we were even born," Hermione said thoughtfully, resting her chin on her hand.

Sean nodded. "I didn't get much information in that world either, but one thing is certain: Dumbledore on the Annihilated Timeline was no longer the Hogwarts headmaster we knew... He was wildly ambitious, even willing to sacrifice the entire world."

"And his goal was obvious. Everything he did on the Annihilated Timeline, as well as the trap he later set for you, was all for Achieving Godhood," Stephanie picked up the thread.

Sean gave a bitter laugh. "It really is tempting..."

Hermione seemed deeply regretful over Dumbledore's corruption on that Timeline. With pursed lips and furrowed brows, she said, "I can't believe the Headmaster would do something like that..."

Sean did not feel much of a tangible impact from it. He had always maintained the mindset of preparing for the worst.

Hearing Hermione's words, he merely shrugged. "That Timeline must have started changing a long time ago. We have no idea what happened in between."

"And Professor Dumbledore might have been controlled by Herpo, right?" Daisy asked cautiously.
