Grindelwald had come to see Sean on Christmas, apparently just to take him around several important defensive locations.

Using Apparition powerful enough to travel between several continents, Sean visited several places in succession.

All of those places were Magical Grounds, the fallen Divine Realms of the past.

"We practically traveled around the world, and it only took this long..." Sean could not help but remark. "Though my head feels a little dizzy."

"That means your mastery of Apparition is still insufficient," Grindelwald said leisurely.

Who can Apparate across an entire continent like a freak like you? Sean grumbled inwardly.

The two of them, familiar with the route, once again stood atop the Wallop family villa's roof. Snow in England was still drifting down in soft flakes.

"You called me over today just for this?" Sean asked lazily.

Grindelwald glanced at him and scolded with a smile, "Your nerve is growing, isn't it? Hmm?"

"Forget I said anything..." Sean backed down with remarkable speed.

Grindelwald turned to look at the moon, his tone unhurried. "Before coming here, I went to see Ariana."

Sean was slightly surprised. Given Grindelwald's personality, he would treat Ariana and Aberforth well for Dumbledore's sake, but that was all—after all, he and Aberforth had fallen out badly back then, and Aberforth had never welcomed him into the Dumbledore home.
