Sean helped Dumbledore and the Potters lift Daisy’s Blood Curse and separate her Obscurus, but the procedure left an Obscurus inside Sean, whose power he absorbed. After the school year ended, Sean reunited with Harry and Daisy for their shared birthday party and went with the children to visit Bathilda Bagshot.

• Sean helped Newt restrain and calm the Wampus Cat, then agreed to care for it until it could be returned to its home.
• Dumbledore and Snape used Nagini’s blood, the Mirror of Erised, and Snape’s potion in an effort to lift her Blood Curse, and Sean soothed her violent instincts until she transformed into a woman.
• After Daisy’s Obscurus split from her consciousness, Dumbledore gathered the Potters and their allies to attempt to separate it, and Sean soothed it while Moody and the Longbottoms destroyed it.
• Sean discovered an ash flake from Daisy’s Obscurus inside his robes, then entered his Magic Power Source and absorbed the Obscurus’s power.
• Sean received Snape’s potions notebook and a phoenix feather from Dumbledore, while Hermione placed first in the year and Ravenclaw won the House Cup.
• Sean took Newt’s Wampus Cat home, named it Pudding, and spent the summer caring for it alongside Dave and Naja.
• Sean joined Harry, Ron, and Hermione at Godric’s Hollow for Harry and Daisy’s shared birthday party, where Daisy hugged him and received his bracelet.

Sean uncovered the history behind Grindelwald’s letter, learned that a breach between the Otherworld and the living world had released powerful ghosts, and discovered that an ancient prophecy identified him as Pride. The arc ended with Dumbledore telling Sean that Sin had returned and that Sean was its incarnation.

• Bathilda gave Sean Grindelwald’s letter, and Sean witnessed memories of Grindelwald and Dumbledore planning to use the Philosopher’s Stone and the Deathly Hallows to change the wizarding world.
• Dumbledore’s letter explained that he had used the Philosopher’s Stone to create a new body for Ariana, whose soul had fused with the soul born inside it, and sent Sean an imitation Stone to strengthen his spells.
• Sean returned to Hogwarts with Hermione, where Daisy was sorted into Ravenclaw, Lockhart became the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, and Snape tested Sean and Daisy in Potions.
• Sean and Hermione found Hagrid missing, then Sean recognized an illusion and encountered a Ghostly Horned Serpent possessing Hagrid, which said Isolt Sayre had sent it to seek Sean’s help.
• Daisy recognized the Horned Serpent as one she had seen beside the person who cursed her, and Sean suspected that her unusual Magical Creature Affinity connected her to the creature.
• Dumbledore told Sean that a stolen object had pierced the barrier between the Otherworld and the living world, allowing ghosts such as the Horned Serpent to escape, and that the thief’s goal involved a prophecy.
• Sean and Dumbledore viewed a memory in which Cassandra Vablatsky prophesied that Sin would return after a thousand years, led by Pride, and bring destruction unless the old age paid for its sins.
• Dumbledore explained that ancient wizards’ wars had created Sin and told Sean that Sin had been released again, identifying Sean as Pride, its incarnation and the first of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Sean learned that his bloodline was tied to a prophecy, then helped Hogwarts respond to the Chamber of Secrets attacks by identifying the Basilisk threat and tracing the rooster killings to Gormlaith Gaunt and the Ghostly Horned Serpent. He deepened his connection with Pride and the Obscurus before interrupting Snape and Harry’s confrontation on his birthday, when Fred and George gave him a gift.

• Dumbledore told Sean that he, Harry, and Neville carried Sin’s bloodline, warned that Sean’s power would awaken in six years, and gave him notes on becoming an Animagus.
• Sean began practicing the Animagus transformation with Hermione’s cautious support, then attended Nearly Headless Nick’s Deathday Party with her.
• Sean found Filch and Edmund Grub petrified and warned the professors that a Parselmouth might be controlling a Basilisk through the pipes.
• Sean questioned Hagrid about his expulsion and learned that Tom Riddle had transferred to Newmontgard before the Chamber had opened fifty years earlier.
• Sean proposed using rooster crows and distributing roosters to protect Hogwarts, but an invisible attacker slaughtered the birds despite the professors’ traps.
• Sean and Professor McGonagall suspected that the Ghostly Horned Serpent was helping the killer, and Nearly Headless Nick revealed that the Moody Witch was Gormlaith Gaunt.
• Sean read about Gormlaith, received Felix Felicis from Lily, and spent his points on Lottery Draws before confronting Pride and learning to communicate with the Obscurus.
• On his birthday, Sean interrupted Snape and Harry’s argument and persuaded Fred and George to abandon their drain-flooding prank before they gave him a gift.

Sean confronted Gormlaith Gaunt, then became trapped in a hidden chamber with the Basilisk and uncovered Salazar Slytherin’s writings and gifts. After returning to Hogwarts, Sean reunited with Hermione and Daisy and began guiding them through the Animagus process.

• Fred and George gave Sean the Marauder’s Map, and he used it to spot Gormlaith Gaunt in the second-floor girls’ washroom.
• Sean disguised himself as Draco Malfoy and let Gormlaith believe he would help her purge Hogwarts, learning about her plans and the Horcrux spell before trapping her with Nihilo Intuor.
• Sean told Professors Scamander, McGonagall, and Flitwick about the Gaunt ghost, and Dumbledore later entered the Chamber and defeated the Basilisk.
• Sean entered a hidden passage from the Slytherin Common Room and was knocked unconscious by a huge creature in a chamber beneath the Black Lake.
• The Basilisk kept Sean alive while Dave guarded him, and Sean read Slytherin’s writings about the Basilisk, Parseltongue, ancient spells, and Hogwarts.
• Sean found Ales Lockhart’s notebook and Slytherin’s Pensieve, where Slytherin taught him about the founders’ imprints and how to gain authority over Hogwarts.
• Sean returned from the chamber and reunited with Hermione and Daisy, while Grindelwald began investigating ancient families after seeing a vision of Sean injured.
• Sean showed Hermione and Daisy Hogwarts’ secret-room list, introduced Daisy to his magical creatures, and began teaching them the Animagus process with a Mandrake leaf.
