Newt's New "Guest"
Until the Potions experiment ended, Sean, who had been summoned by Dumbledore, was of little use. Dumbledore's original intention was to have Sean communicate with Nagini's animalistic and wild side, and then suppress it as much as possible.
But the Potions's effects weren't as good as expected, so Sean naturally had no chance to make a move.
After Sean suggested the idea of a blood transfusion, Dumbledore and Snape discussed it for a long time. After all, the Blood Curse was not a kidney disease, and a blood transfusion alone could not solve it.
After reaching a preliminary conclusion, the two decided to begin storing blood. During this time, Snape would continue to improve the Potions formula, Dumbledore would also seek out more methods.
At the office door, Dumbledore in his steps as he was about to leave. He looked at Sean and said softly, "We also need to consider the age and resilience of the cursed person, as well as the strength of her own magic. And it's not just Blood Curse; there are other things involved."
Sean immediately understood, and he took over the conversation, pretending to think, saying, "You're right, Professor. If we ultimately decide to use this method, we'll need to consider more details..."
Before he could finish speaking, Snape dropped a sentence and slammed the door shut.
"I'll research more when I have time!"
The old man and the child looked at each other and both smiled.
"Oh, Sean, you and I are getting better and better at working together." Dumbledore walked ahead, like a child who had just pulled off a prank, and said happily.
"Professor, what exactly happened Potter family Professor Snape and the Potters?" Sean was very curious now, after all, he only knew the result, and knew nothing about the specifics of the incident.
"Oh, I'm sorry, this involves their privacy. I think Severus probably doesn't want too many people to know about his past," Dumbledore tilted his head. "However, I vaguely remember that they got along quite well when they first enrolled."
They have a good relationship?! Snape and James?!
Sean almost lost control of his expression; he even wondered if his memory was playing tricks on him.
"The world of young people is always colorful and full of changes. By graduation, they don't keep in touch much anymore." Dumbledore shrugged, looking quite regretful.
"Because of Mrs. Potter?" Sean asked curiously.
Dumbledore winked at him. "Sean, your intuition and curiosity are outstanding, but I suggest you restrain yourself when facing Severus. There are quite a few Potions in his research over the years that even I find frightening."
"I was just a little curious..." Sean chuckled dryly.
Forget it, he doesn't want to end up foaming at the mouth and lying in the Great Hall one day after drinking Pumpkin Juice.
After saying goodbye to Dumbledore, Sean headed toward Newt's office. He had been in the basement for a long time today and hadn't fed Dave and Naja yet, so he decided to meet with Professor Scamander.
Upon arriving at the location, Sean knocked on the door, and after a while, the wooden door was opened a crack.
"Professor Scamander?" Sean pushed open the door, but did not see the owner of the room.
He felt his trouser leg being pulled.
"Hey, Pickett, it's great to see you. Did you open the door for me?"
Sean chuckled as he crouched down and placed his hands on the ground so that the Bowtruckle could climb up effortlessly.
Pickett stood on his palm, pointed to the suitcase lying in the corner with his outstretched branch, and began to gesture with his hands.
It punched itself, then stuck its tongue out. Sean scratched his head. "Fighting? Knocked out?"
Pickett nodded, then pointed to Newt's coat hanging on the hanger, then to the wooden door, and then spread out its little branches and made a four-limbed lying motion. Its slender and flexible fingers even bent and forked to its waist.
"You mean, Professor Scamander, uh—from outside, back, fighting with a four-legged creature—no? uh, with a six-legged animal?" It took Sean quite a while to understand what Pickett meant.
"!" Pickett gesticulated wildly, then put one hand on his hip and pointed at Sean with the other.
"Should I go help?"
"Aha!"
Although Pickett didn't make a sound, the expression on its face conveyed that meaning, and then a bud suddenly sprouted from its branch-like fingers.
This is a thumbs-up for Sean.
"We're getting more and more in sync." Sean smiled and held up one finger, and Pickett jumped up and gave him a happy high five.
It seems that Professor Scamander's little world has welcomed a new guest.
Sean turned around, locked the door, and picked up the suitcase.
"Let me see. Professor Scamander told me that you have to press it down and twist it backwards first, then forwards..." Sean recalled the method Newt taught him as he turned the brass dial on the suitcase.
The dial was turned, and a small brass plate popped out above the keyhole, which read ' Muggle Mode'. Turning it again, a new brass plate popped up, which read ' Dumbledore Mode'.
After twisting it once more, Sean placed the suitcase on the ground, opened the door, and climbed inside. Once he was down, the suitcase bounced and closed automatically.
"Merlin's underwear... what happened..." Sean's eyes widened as he climbed down the ladder.
Chaos had broken out below. Newt's little shack was crammed with all sorts of Magical Creatures, huddled together and trembling. Not far away came bursts of noise and roars, which occasionally made the whole shack shake.
"Oh, little one, leave it to me." Sean reached out and picked up a wobbly photo frame on the ground. It was a picture of Professor Scamander and his wife Tina.
The picture frame must have been shaken and fell down; several Diricawl were using their little heads to prop it up to prevent it from breaking.
Sean's voice immediately drew the attention of all the Magical Creatures in the shed.
"Squeak squeak squeak!"
"Waaah~"
"Glug! Glug!"
"Li-wu!"
The trembling Magical Creatures rushed over as if they had seen family.
"No!" Sean's voice was drowned out by the various Magical Creatures before it even finished.
"Hey, hey, little guys... ugh!" He was tackled to the ground, and the Magical Creatures all scrambled to get into his arms.
"Hey, Nick, your butt's on my face! — Bernard, your stinger, your stinger! Ouch! — Charles, don't kiss me! I can't breathe — Ugh, baa baa!"
Having finally managed to break free, Sean took a deep breath of fresh air. He put the Tree-Monkey Frog on his chest to the ground and said seriously, "Sandy, don't try to get your tail into my robes again next time."
"Woohoo~" Tree-Monkey Frog Sandy stuck out his long tongue.
"Alright, little ones, you stay here for now, I'll go check on the situation."
