Background

Ji Wuming was born in Blue Fish Village to parents whose martial souls were both Fish Forks. He worked as a blacksmith from the age of five and possessed extensive inherited forging knowledge, including the Dragon Spring Forging Technique. Before his awakening, he hoped his status as a transmigrator would grant him a powerful mutated or body martial soul. 1 2

His awakened martial soul was instead a fragile broken spear with only Rank 3 innate soul power. Rather than accept its limitations or join Martial Soul Hall, he chose Vast Sea City Junior Soul Master Academy and resolved to evolve the spear through forging, inspired by Ji Juechen's example. 2
