Tang San is intensely protective of Xiao Wu and repeatedly places her safety above his own. When Xiao Wu was injured or endangered, he responded with immediate fury, from trying to kill Dugu Yan after her attack to standing between Xiao Wu and Spirit Hall once her Soul Beast identity was exposed. 105 167
