Background / History

Fu Li sacrificed himself during the Tenth Honkai in the previous timeline, then awakened in his sixteen-year-old body in 2014—three years before the Third Honkai he expected to occur. Retaining memories of the future, he immediately recognized that history was no longer proceeding as expected. 2 29

Before his rebirth, Fu Li survived the Third Honkai and was separated from Kiana, Mei, and Bronya after they entered St. Freya Academy. He spent more than half a year searching for a path into the Honkai side, then became a B-rank freelance mercenary within two months. 9 10

In the new timeline, he lives in a cramped Changkong City apartment and gives the better adjacent room to Kiana. His ordinary appearance and timid reputation abruptly give way to the composure, combat awareness, and knowledge of a battle-hardened survivor after his return. 2 12

The End-of-World Assistance System activates within the Key of Domination 0017 and introduces him to Prometheus 0017. Through the system's lottery and exchange functions, Fu Li begins rebuilding his strength before the delayed Third Honkai can occur. 2 3

He is calm under pressure and willing to take risks for people he considers allies. He holds off Bronya so Kiana and Mei can escape, rescues Kiana from Ling's attack, and prioritizes Mei and Kiana over retaining Bronya as a captive. 17 30 50

Fu Li confronts Ling at the Yae Village ruins. He prepares Shadow Blades in advance, activates Demonic Blade · Unknown Fire, secretly places the Moon Ring on Ling, and uses seven synchronized sword strikes to exploit the gap between Ling's A-rank power and his own B-rank capabilities. 13 14 15
