The battle began with the Myriad Rivers Returning to the Sea Formation empowering the assembled fighters, who started overwhelming the ancient beings.

• Lin Fan inspired Tang Sanzang to leave the Buddhist Sect and found a new religion, then broke through to the Fifteenth Realm on his return journey.
• Lin Fan arranged the Moon Embracing Sect’s whole-sect ascension for the next Nine Stars Conjunction and sent a message to the lower realm to begin preparations.
• Lin Fan recruited Zhang Yu and Bai Zhenzhen from the Ruins of Return, and Fan Jianqiang trained them in powerful cultivation methods.

After welcoming new allies and restoring the Sky Gazing Mirror, Lin Fan set out with a strong group to support Qin Yu in the God Realm.

• Wang Teng, Three Leaves, Shi Qi, Ren Xiaoyao, Huo Yun'er, and Long Aojiao repelled the attackers, while Lin Fan and his allies reinforced the formation and subdued the old madmen and Immortal Kings.
• Zuo Yu trapped the old madmen and Immortal Kings in illusions, but five Fallen Supremes awakened and attacked the group.
• Lin Fan and his allies battled the Fallen Supremes, defeated Han Wuwei, and killed the four Immortal King Giants before black qi gathered again in the Dark Forbidden Zone.

After returning home, Lin Fan chose to pursue several paths toward his own Supreme Great Dao and entered seclusion as the sect continued to grow.

• Long Aojiao fought her way through the God Realm’s entrance, and Lin Fan’s group entered under her claim as the Overlord Divine Emperor’s successor.
• Lin Fan’s group reached Jiang Lan’s mansion, where Jiang Li revealed her connection to the Life Divine King and chose to remain with the Moon Embracing Sect despite her father’s marriage plans.
• Xiao Ling'er and the other disciples demonstrated the sect’s techniques in the Heaven-Connecting Wood test, with Three Leaves achieving the highest result.
• The Moon Embracing Sect’s contestants advanced through the contest, and Lin Fan defeated Xia He before Xiao Ling'er battled Qi Meng to a draw using her explosive pills.
• Shi Hao defeated Shi Jian, Lin Fan overcame Zhou Xian’s lightning arts, and Qin Yu became the contest’s final victor after the others withdrew.

• The Four Races assaulted Moon Embracing Sect, but Lin Fan emerged as an Immortal King and fought An Lan, using the Self-Transformation into Freedom Method to overpower and seal him.
• Wutian forced the Four Races to retreat, and Lin Fan revealed that he had proven about three thousand Daos and planned to forge them into a Supreme Great Dao.
