"Kayson... put that thing away." Dumbledore walked over and flicked his wand. The wand hidden in Grindelwald's sleeve flew into his hand.
"Didn't you check how this would end before coming here?" Dumbledore asked.
Grindelwald snorted. "You know I don't believe in that thing."
"A prophet who doesn't believe in prophecies..." Dumbledore said, looking toward Kayson. Kayson nodded and beckoned. The Ender Pearl that had just been imprisoning the entirety of Hogwarts' space appeared in his hand. He tapped it lightly twice, and the pearl dimmed.
The imprisoned space was released once more.
Dumbledore pressed a hand to Grindelwald's shoulder, and the two of them Apparated away the next moment.
Only then did Kayson let out a breath of relief. Looking at his ruined floor and floor-to-ceiling windows, he helplessly took out some blocks and patched everything back together.
After finishing it all, he finally relaxed. The huge stone that had been weighing on his chest had finally been smashed to pieces.
Meanwhile, Sirius, who had been blinded in the fourth-floor bedroom, regained his sight when Dumbledore left.
When he arrived at the third-floor office, he was somewhat confused, not knowing what had just happened. But judging by how it looked as though nothing had happened here...
Maybe it was just a side effect of the ring General Kayson had given him.
At that very moment, poor Sirius still had no idea that General Kayson had been deleted from the timeline.
Well, even if he had known, he probably would not have found the slightest interest in working.
After all, General Kayson had started the cold violence first, and he had not even given Sirius anything to communicate with him about. Why should Sirius work so hard at this surveillance job? Obviously, the important thing was to hurry to Gryffindor
