"Professor Trelawney once made a prophecy, and this crystal ball contains that very prophecy." Dumbledore tapped the crystal ball with a finger.
"...That was exactly what I was asking."
"A cliché but classic prophecy. Harry and Tom—one representing justice, the other evil. In the end, justice defeated evil. That was all." Dumbledore shrugged.
"Then Voldemort...?"
"Obviously, Voldemort had that sort of... how should I put it... Greek mythology kind of fate. In trying to prevent the prophecy from happening, he ultimately caused it to happen. Not only was he unlucky, he was foolish. So even now, he still wanted to find out what exactly the prophecy was." Dumbledore pointed at the crystal ball.
"Is this crystal ball of any use to us?"
"No. I know the entire prophecy." Dumbledore shook his head.
"Then why keep it? Wait for Voldemort to steal it?" A pixelated flame rose in Kayson's hand as he prepared to toss the crystal ball into it.
Dumbledore watched with great interest. He could not sense any special power in those flames. To be honest, he was very curious why Kayson's pixelated fire could burn everything like Fiendfyre.
Then he watched helplessly as the crystal ball was tossed into the flames. There was only a crackling sound, and not even a speck of dust remained.
"Once again, I failed to understand the principles behind your fire." Dumbledore shook his head helplessly.
"It's a talent. Is there anything else?"
"No. Go eat. Let the young wizards see that their Alchemy Professor had returned." Dumbledore rose and left the office with Kayson, heading for the Great Hall.
The moment Dumbledore and Kayson entered the Great Hall and the young wizards saw them, cheers erupted throughout the hall. Dumbledore murmured beside Kayson's ear, "How I wish those cheers were for me.
