Upon returning to Hogwarts, Kayson was the first to appear in the Hogwarts Great Hall. The starry sky on the ceiling was clear and perfectly fine.
"So? Voldemort's real destination isn't here? Are there any reports of attacks elsewhere?"
Kayson looked at Dumbledore, who was standing not far away. Dumbledore shook his head and then decisively gathered all the teachers and students together for a brief meeting.
The main idea is that Hogwarts is still safe after I checked it over and over again, so please act as if nothing happened, continue with your lives, and study hard.
After the meeting ended and everyone in the Great Hall had left, Kayson immediately Ender teleportation back to his office.
This is Dumbledore's office.
Based on his understanding of Dumbledore, this old Dumbledore was definitely not the kind of person who would fabricate too much nonsense with his students.
Let alone Voldemort's attack on Downing Street a second ago, even during the Triwizard Tournament, Voldemort only briefly showed up in the graveyard thousands of miles away, and Dumbledore immediately began to display his linguistic charm.
Upon returning, I won't say anything else, but will directly state that Voldemort has been resurrected, and that the young wizards should prepare for battle.
Now, Voldemort's actions are far more dangerous than before, while Dumbledore tells the students not to panic and to eat and drink as usual.
Something's not right! Something's definitely not right!
Soon, Dumbledore returned to his office looking exhausted, and then saw Kayson drinking alone on the sofa. "I have something to ask you later, how's it going with the Prime Minister?"
"I gave them a charged Ender Pearl, and my two books aren't of much use right now, so I'll leave them with the Prime Minister. I can just summon them whenever I need them. This way, if Voldemort tries to attack again, we'll have more time to prepare, instead of like this time, where Voldemort and his men deliberately delayed their attack by so much time after the Dark Mark. Maybe they never intended to be serious in the first place."
"And what's wrong with you on the other end? I listened to your meeting from beginning to end, it's not like you at all," Kayson asked.
Dumbledore's exhaustion was impossible to hide. "I suspect Voldemort has infiltrated the castle."
"Sneaked in... who did he replace?" Kayson asked, his eyes widening suddenly.
"There are many reasons why a person's temperament might suddenly change, such as the Imperius Curse or Polyjuice Potion, but Tom may have come up with a more sophisticated method this time," Dumbledore said.
"How so?" Kayson frowned.
"A variant of the Confundus Charm. A normal Confundus Charm can be understood as 'I confuse you, making you think of me as ' Grindelwald '."
"And this variant is that while I confuse others, I also confuse myself, my memories, and my body, so that others see me as Grindelwald."
"That's not what I meant. I meant that there's a high possibility that some young wizards have fallen victim to Voldemort's clutches." Kayson's point was very clear.
"I've said it before, Tom won't replace anyone else. Instead, he's created a new identity within our conceptual framework. Hogwarts now has a new little wizard out of nowhere," Dumbledore said, standing up and looking towards the attic.
"What are you doing?" Kayson asked.
"Let me check the Book of Acceptance. It will contain the names of all the young wizards from those years. Otherwise, why do you think I suddenly called a meeting? Of course, it was to gather all the young wizards of Hogwarts together and then check their memories and the Book of Acceptance one by one," Dumbledore explained.
"What if Voldemort didn't even hold the meeting? Does he seem like the kind of person who would listen to orders?"
Dumbledore sighed, "If I can do it, that would be great; if I can't, then I'll leave it to you. Right now, only you and I know about this; Gellert doesn't know."
"Finding someone... Ah... I wish I had learned a few more tricks from Holmes back then." Kayson sighed. These methods of finding people were only useful if he learned them himself.
Holmes, now so close to America, had absolutely no chance of helping her. After all, Voldemort could directly confuse his own memories and body, let alone others.
If Voldemort knew that he had such a Muggle friend, wouldn't that give him another weakness that could be exploited?
"I never thought that being a professor would mean doing the work of a detective," Kayson sighed, disappearing from Dumbledore's office.
The next day, Kayson sat in the High Table, eating his meal while looking at a group of young wizards below who were perhaps very familiar to him. Of course, he wasn't sure whether that feeling of familiarity was genuine or just Voldemort's way of confusing them.
It could be said that the most severe consequence of this move was that it did nothing at all, yet it alienated Kayson from everyone else.
For a moment, he even began to doubt Harry Potter.
Is Harry Potter really Harry Potter? Did he really kill Voldemort? Is he truly righteous?
What if all the memories I have about Harry Potter in my head are just a jumbled mess?
Kayson knew perfectly well that this was impossible, but he couldn't help but think this whenever he looked at those familiar faces below.
"A cruel trick, truly a cruel trick!" Kayson Diffindo under his breath as he ate the last piece of bread, tearing it to pieces.
"What?" Snape looked at him in confusion.
Kayson shook his head. "It's nothing, I'm just feeling a little unwell."
"Drink more milk," Snape said succinctly.
Kayson suddenly realized, "That's right, why didn't he think of that?"
Drink more milk! Maybe that will help you get rid of the Confundus Charm.
Thinking this, he quickly took out the milk bucket and gulped it down, then looked down at the groups of little wizards below.
It's useless.
Kayson put the milk bucket away and let out a somewhat helpless burp.
Milk can remove external forces from the body, that's fine, but Voldemort's confused variant isn't entirely due to the power within Kayson's body. It's because of the constant external influences on Kayson, affecting his vision and hearing, and then using these two senses to create memories.
Strictly speaking, everything is external to Kayson and cannot be considered internal energy.
"Milk is useless..." Kayson sighed. This time, Voldemort's code was superior to ours.
Xia Fan's performance was consistently excellent! Extremely handsome! Thumbs up!
