"Mm... yes, Hufflepuff did the best today, especially Cedric. He earned forty-seven points for Hufflepuff. Very good."

A week later, in Kayson's first class after recovering, he generously used Cedric as an opening for all kinds of excuses to award points to Hufflepuff. By the end of class, Hufflepuff had gained a full forty-seven points.

That was absolutely a massive haul of points.

And Cedric deserved every bit of it. Mm... he really did deserve it.

After finishing his last class of the day, Kayson returned to his office with light steps, openly and aboveboard.

He no longer had to worry about little wizards suddenly appearing and staring at his thin pant legs with the eyes of a mother hen.

Because wearing long johns really was uncomfortable.

When he returned to his office, a package on the windowsill caught his attention.

"It can't possibly be a Christmas present at this time of year..." Kayson studied the package with an inquisitive gaze and quickly made the same choice Rita Skeeter had.

He built a sealed, explosion-proof space out of Obsidian, then controlled tiny blocks inside it to open the package.

Then he pressed his ear to the Obsidian. Only after confirming that there was no sound of an explosion or any trace of Dark Magic did he relax and put the Obsidian away.

The package had been opened, revealing a running Redstone doll with a golden lightning bolt on its chest. It looked as though it had been ground from Gold Galleons.

There was also a card inside the package, with four names written on it.

Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville.

"...That's actually pretty touching." Kayson carefully placed the Flash figurine in a corner of his desk, enchanted it for durability with the Enchanting Table, then covered it with a glass case.
