The four Gryffindor youngsters' trial had reached its final level.

Neville also helped Harry dismantle the piston door's outer casing, exposing the Redstone circuit inside.

Harry pressed the tiny Redstone block onto the Redstone circuit, and with a clack, the piston door opened.

"All right, let's go in." Harry let out a breath of relief. This door was almost exactly as Professor Kayson had described it. If that were not impossible, he would have thought the Redstone theory had been taught specifically because Kayson had foreseen that he would come here.

The two walked through the door side by side and looked at the figure at the far end, along with the mirror behind him.

"Mr. Potter, and Mr. Longbottom, hello," Quirrell said without even turning his head. Or rather, it was not Quirrell's voice at all.

"Did you wrap a speaker behind your turban?" Harry looked at Quirrell. The man did not seem to intend to kill them for the moment, but Harry still had no goodwill whatsoever toward a Dark Wizard, so he immediately started with trash talk.

"Quirrell, relax. Let me come out. Let me look at him..." The voice came from behind the turban once more.

Quirrell obediently nodded and began unwinding the turban from his head, layer by layer.

It revealed an ugly face on the back of his head—pale, sinister, and noseless.

"Mr. Potter, the last time I saw you, I gave you two gifts."

"Your father's death, and your mother's death."

"And likewise, Mr. Longbottom, what about your parents? I later received some news. All I can say is that your parents were very brave, but they were not smart enough. They did not understand how to choose the right side. They stood on the wrong side, and thus met their fate."

"Bullshit!"
