Seeing Du Pont's expression, Judy knew this really was urgent. He immediately called for a nearby cook to watch the chips for him. Du Pont glanced over, then directly scooped the chips out with a skimmer. "You need to take them out as soon as they start to change color. If you wait until they're fully colored, they won't taste good."
"Oh, oh." Judy caught the chips with a half-meter-wide tray. Du Pont shook the skimmer a few times to drain the oil. "You can add some fine salt and chili powder as seasoning. Remember not to use too much, and spread it evenly."
Judy did as instructed, then stuffed a handful into his mouth and nodded in satisfaction. Carrying the tray, he nodded at Du Pont. "Let's go."
Following the halfling's footsteps, Du Pont discovered that although Judy's legs were short, his pace was incredibly fast. Du Pont actually had some trouble keeping up.
Hearing his panting behind him, Judy was somewhat surprised. After sniffing, he noticed the faint scent of blood on Du Pont. "What happened? You got hurt?"
"Yes, I ran into Cultists." Du Pont nodded, only to see Judy hand him a bottle of healing potion. "Then treat your injuries first. What if something happens because you're forcing yourself to endure it?"
"I'm fine. My injuries aren't serious." Du Pont was not lying. After summoning the skeletons, he had activated Rage inside the Stinking Cloud. In that state, his skin was as hard as iron and highly resistant to slashing damage. Combined with his own Natural Defense, he could take the Skeleton Soldiers' blades head-on with barely any injuries. He merely looked especially miserable, with his clothes hacked to shreds. "This potion is pretty expensive."
Judy shook his head and waved the potion in his hand.
