Background

Ye Shi was among Shelter 404's early players. His initial genetic sequence was Perception-type, with an initial Perception attribute of 7—one point above Ya Ya's. 29

During the encounter with the Crawler, he assisted Chu Guang and Fang Chang, then handled the group’s handcart after the battle. He later looted equipment from the dead mercenaries, including firearms that were brought back to the shelter. 37 40

When Chen Yang seized him as a hostage, Ye Shi fought against his captor’s hold and shouted for Chu Guang to shoot through him rather than negotiate. 38 After returning to the outpost, he helped Fang Chang carry out Chu Guang’s orders and was frustrated that his role in the incident had mostly amounted to looting bodies and being taken hostage. 39
