It had to be said that Starro was quite unlucky. It had been captured by humans at its weakest and miserably subjected to research ever since. Of course it was angry.
Decades of imprisonment had filled Starro with intense hatred for humanity. Civilian or soldier, it slaughtered them all without mercy.
Moreover, it had a trait: the more targets it controlled, the stronger it became, and the larger its body grew.
That was why Starro was now so enormous.
Who knew how many lab rats—or humans—America had used to test its possession and control abilities?
That was what had created its current size.
So Deadpool knew very well that the most direct cause of this situation was, in fact, America.
Just like the Marvel World, the DC World was the same. It might seem like a world full of Super Heroes, where Super Heroes saved the world time and again, but most of the time, these world-threatening crises were caused by humanity itself.
Calling it humanity was not quite right, though. America could not represent all of humanity. After all, most disasters were actually caused by America.
They created disasters themselves, killed countless people, caused immeasurable losses, then resolved them and proclaimed themselves heroes. This was exactly the kind of behavior that antiheroes like Deadpool despised most.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bloodsport and Peacemaker were indeed very powerful, at least far stronger than ordinary soldiers.
Their weapons were also far superior to those of the local military. They unleashed all kinds of attacks at Starro, and violent explosions erupted across its body.
However, although their firearms blasted many wounds into Starro's body, its size was simply too overwhelming. Their attacks only injured it, like mosquito bites, and could not cause any significant damage.
Furthermore, Starro possessed an incredibly strong regenerative ability.
