As a Super Hero, Batman was naturally very familiar with those Super Villains, so he immediately recognized Deadpool's current disguise as "Deathstroke."
Moreover, with the additional information Batman possessed, he immediately sensed that something was wrong.
If this really were Deathstroke, he would never have spared these two people. He would have shot them dead outright. Why would he waste time punching and kicking two ordinary people?
