Two fire elements had appeared beside Nimel. Both were tiny, only half her height, and they stood firmly in front of her, keeping the poison men from approaching.

Nimel wanted to draw a card, only to discover in horror that she had just two left, one of them a zero-star card.

And the claws of the two poison men were already reaching for her face.

Nimel's expression changed dramatically as she withdrew from that combat mode.

In a panic, she drew the zero-star card and instinctively took a step back.

One poison man after another came roaring down from above. Caroso calmly swung the Sword of Flames in midair, and not a single poison man could land alive beside him.

Caroso returned to the top and said coldly, "How much longer are you going to stand there in a daze?"

Only then did Nimel come back to her senses. She hurriedly flung out a card, and a bone-chilling frost spread forward from her body.
