Before long, with Alvin's massive body leading the way ahead, Shen Yi took Winnie and Xilos through a deep-blue spatial teleportation passage.
The scene before their eyes changed abruptly, and they arrived in a small world that had been opened up separately.
This world was desolate. As far as the eye could see, there was only gray-brown rocky ground and bare, jagged stones. The sky was a sickly dark purple, with no sun, moon, or stars, only a few twisted bands of light from some unknown source drifting slowly through the void.
Even more obvious was that the rules here were extremely disordered. The spatial structure was so fragile it occasionally gave off faint cracking sounds. The temperature swung between cold and hot, and the air was thin, mixed with the remnants of all kinds of conflicting rules. It was utterly unfit for living beings to survive in.
However, this degree of rule disorder was no threat at all to Shen Yi and the others.
A layer of pale golden light naturally flowed around Winnie, easily smoothing out the chaotic rules around her that tried to erode her. Xilos was even more direct. Flames flickered faintly in her crimson eyes, and the pure, transparent fire around her body, made so by fusing with the origin of the Flame of Continued Combustion, rippled gently, incinerating every breath of disorder that drew near.
As for Shen Yi, there was even less need to say.
He was even calmer. He did not even need to deliberately activate his power. The strange balance formed within him by the Shadow Authority and the origin of the Flame of Continued Combustion made the chaotic rules around him automatically give way and settle, as if he himself were a stable Order Domain.
Alvin hovered in midair. He
