As Pope, Qian Xunji accepts Bibi Dong's proposal to establish the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament. He views the event as both a contest of Spirit Hall's honor and a vehicle for recruiting talented young soul masters. 30 31

Although he praises Bibi Dong's talent—including her Twin Martial Souls, Innate Full Soul Power, and unprecedented Ten Thousand Year Fourth Soul Ring—he never intends for her to inherit the papacy. He takes her as a disciple with the intention of eventually marrying her and producing a powerful Angel-Clan descendant. 30

Qian Xunji permits Bibi Dong to form a team for Great Soul Arena matches, but secretly orders Ling Yuan, Yue Guan, and Gui Mei to monitor her and investigate the male students around her. When informed that Yu Xiaogang is attempting to court Bibi Dong, he becomes jealous and considers ruthless action if she has feelings for him. 31 70
