Background / History

Tang Hao was raised within the Clear Sky Sect as the son of Tang Wei and grandson of Tang Chen. Regarded as the sect’s once-in-a-century genius, he grew up under heavy protection after the earlier Yu Xinglong incident; even trips outside the sect normally required an elder’s escort. Tang Chen expected him to master the Clear Sky Sect’s techniques, gain experience in Slaughter City, and eventually inherit the sect’s leadership. 18 49

At age 28, Tang Hao returned from Slaughter City after completing the Road to Hell. He became the second Clear Sky Sect member, after Tang Chen, to possess the Slaughter God’s Domain. The experience left him with intense killing intent and a lingering fear of the trials he survived. 64

His first encounter with Lin Hanye’s group ended disastrously. Drawn to Ah Yin at first sight, Tang Hao attempted to approach her, reacted violently to rejection and ridicule, and challenged Lin Hanye, Liu Erlong, and Ah Yin together. The group defeated him decisively, leaving him wounded and humiliated. 64 65 66

Tang Hao responded by cultivating in seclusion. He reached Level 70 at age 30, was named the Clear Sky Sect’s next Sect Master, and received the Titan Strength Right Arm Bone. His absence during the Strength Clan massacre, however, caused resentment among the Single Attribute Sects, particularly because Tai Tan had been his servant and the clan’s Thousand Jun Ant Left Arm Bone had been intended for him. 93 105 106

He later accepted a compensated rematch with Lin Hanye, motivated both by vengeance and his fixation on Ah Yin. Lin Hanye again defeated him by exploiting the Clear Sky Hammer’s inability to contest aerial, long-range attacks effectively. Tang Hao left determined to cultivate further and eventually use Ring Explosion to surpass his rival. 113 115 116 117

Personality

Tang Hao is proud of both his bloodline and the Clear Sky Sect’s status. He frequently treats perceived slights against himself as insults to the entire sect, and he initially displays open disdain for lower-ranked sects while respecting figures he considers equals or superiors. 64 112

His defeats do not break his resolve; instead, humiliation repeatedly drives him into harsher training and revenge-focused ambitions. However, his confidence often becomes recklessness, particularly when he underestimates tactical opponents or lets obsession override judgment. 94 105 115 117

Tang Hao is fiercely attached to his family, especially Tang Yuehua and later his children. His feelings for Ah Yin, then A Lang, are similarly intense but destructive, contributing to conflict with Tang Xiao and the Clear Sky Sect. 113 208 210 219
