Moriyue rescued and treated Nagato, then joined him and Konan as they left Amegakure and headed for the Cloud Shinobi. As Obito pursued Yugito Nii and Naruto turned against Konoha, Jiraiya became Hokage while Moriyue and Orochimaru prepared to confront Obito.

• Yugito Nii and Kazeki broke into Kirigakure’s prison, where Ando freed himself and Zabuza and Haku before they escaped together.
• Moriyue discovered Dark Naruto inside Naruto’s consciousness, and Dark Naruto rejected Naruto’s beliefs before taking control of his body and leaving the cave.
• Moriyue treated Nagato’s injuries and removed a parasitic insect, then revealed that Uchiha Madara had engineered Yahiko’s death and sought Nagato’s Rinnegan.
• Moriyue helped Nagato and Konan escape an insect attack, warned them that Amegakure was unsafe, and arranged for Akimoto Osamu to lead the village.
• Zabuza told Yugito Nii and Ajisai that the Hoshikage had hired him, while Obito attacked Yugito Nii and wounded her with chains and giant shuriken.
• Moriyue returned to Kumogakure with Konan and Nagato, but found signs of Yugito Nii’s battle and feared Obito had captured her, and Orochimaru then offered to help track Obito.

Moriyue rescued Yugito Nii, challenged A for the Raikage’s title, and sought allies as Hoshikage’s plans emerged. The arc ended with attackers striking Kumogakure as Moriyue and Orochimaru prepared to deal with Hoshikage.

• Moriyue used the Shinigami to sever Obito’s connection to his Sharingan, then restored Yugito Nii by transferring Two-Tails Chakra into her at great cost to himself.
• Moriyue returned to Kumogakure with the recovering Yugito Nii, where A challenged him to win the recognition of more than half the shinobi within three days to claim the Raikage title.
• Moriyue and A fought fiercely, and A acknowledged Moriyue’s strength while offering him a chance to earn the villagers’ support.
• Hoshikage’s old man recruited Naruto to seek power against Konoha, while Naruto confronted Minato inside the sealing space and began to reconsider his anger.
• Moriyue visited Kaede to enlist her help, then defended Takigakure when Naruto attacked and sent two Tailed Beast Bombs toward the village.

Moriyue became Raikage, then led a team to Kirigakure to investigate Hoshikage and its connection to a mysterious painting. After uncovering the painting’s dangerous history and outmaneuvering Gold and Utsu, Moriyue escaped with the painting while the golden spores turned scarlet.

• Moriyue took over as Raikage despite the villagers’ protests, then left Kumogakure with Yugito Nii, Ajisai, and Kazeki to investigate Hoshikage.
• Kabuto and Obito Uchiha uncovered a hidden chamber in Kirigakure and found a painting linked to strange monsters, while Moriyue’s group followed clues there.
• Moriyue defeated Obito and trapped him and Kabuto to learn about their search for the painting, but Kabuto escaped and summoned Han and Roshi to fight the group.
• Gold and Utsu revealed that Hoshikage had obtained Nagato’s Rinnegan and ordered Utsu to master Naruto’s Nine-Tails power and find the last Talisman.
• Kabuto and Orochimaru summoned Deidara and Sasori, while Moriyue studied their souls and learned that the painting held the Monkey Talisman, which had driven Hoshikage’s victims mad.
• Gold and Utsu took the painting and defeated Sasori and Deidara, but Moriyue revealed that he had only pretended to be caught off guard.
• Moriyue stole Utsu’s Rabbit Talisman power and the painting, then escaped with Yugito Nii, Orochimaru, Ajisai, and Kazeki beneath a cloud of golden spores.
• Utsu launched a Great Fireball at the spores despite Gold’s warning, and the spores absorbed the flames and turned scarlet.

Moriyue led the allied shinobi against Hoshikage, Madara, and the Ten-Tails while uncovering new Six Paths-level threats. After rejecting Madara’s dream world, Moriyue returned to the battlefield, where Kaguya appeared and he was cast into a dark, lifeless world.

• Orochimaru abducted the unconscious Naruto as Gold and Utsu pursued Moriyue, while Moriyue prepared war against Hoshikage and the Five Great Nations united against Hoshikage and Madara.
• Sasuke attacked Danzo and awakened his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan after Danzo’s Kotoamatsukami failed, while Moriyue warned the Kage that the real Madara could escape Impure World Reincarnation.
• Hoshikage attacked Iwagakure and the Land of Iron, and Moriyue and the allied forces fought White Zetsu and Kabuto’s reanimated Kage as Moriyue confronted Madara and Obito.
• Moriyue destroyed the Demonic Statue and stopped Obito from becoming its Jinchuriki, while a mysterious Hoshikage ninja revealed Six Paths power and challenged Madara.
• Madara entered Six Paths Mode and began the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but Moriyue and the allied fighters attacked him as the Divine Tree spread across the battlefield.
• Moriyue’s plan left Madara gravely wounded, but Madara escaped Julan’s restraint and cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi as Hoshikage’s Iron Island arrived.
• Moriyue rejected the peaceful illusion created by the Infinite Tsukuyomi, then woke as Kaguya Otsutsuki emerged after Black Zetsu took control of Obito and used the shattered moon to resurrect her.
• Moriyue revealed that he had captured the real Black Zetsu, but Black Zetsu named Orochimaru as the true mastermind before Moriyue lost contact with his tentacles and found himself in a pitch-black world.
