The golden radiance around Hake grew increasingly intense, while the golden Short Blade embedded in his chest began to slowly shrink as though it had softened. In the end, the blade completely vanished into Hake's body, leaving no wound on his chest.

With the Short Blade in hand, Hake gently brushed its edge with one hand. The friction between his fingers and the blade produced a rasping metallic sound.

After staring at the Short Blade for a long while, Hake suddenly raised his head and fixed his gaze on the Fire Feather Phoenix Eagle.

"Die!"

Hake uttered a single simple syllable, and almost at the same moment, the Short Blade in his hand slashed out. A powerful golden blade aura descended from the sky, cleaving a rift like a bottomless abyss through the void.

The Fire Feather Phoenix Eagle barely had time to react before the blade aura passed through its body, sending red blood spraying across the sky. In the next instant, the beasts below witnessed a horrifying sight.

The Fire Feather Phoenix Eagle, an Eighth Sequence True God-level powerhouse, was sliced in two with a single strike, utterly unable to resist.

As soon as the Fire Feather Phoenix Eagle died, the hurricane surrounding Liliath automatically dispersed.

Hake flashed beneath Liliath and caught her around the waist. Looking down at her, he discovered that there was almost no intact flesh left on her body, and she had already fallen unconscious.
