The Federation deployed the Dauntless Fleet to the Mels Star Cluster, where Lin Tian used Emil’s betrayal to force the Bug Emperor Alba to surrender. With Aliya approaching alongside a vast force of Queen Bugs, Lin Fan’s plan to use Alba as leverage left the Federation facing its next confrontation.

• Li Cangqiong’s fleet destroyed Garcia and eight other Queen Bugs with Zero-Point Missiles, while Alba searched in vain for Lin Hong’s vanished energy.
• Lin Fan persuaded the Federation leaders to deploy the Dauntless Fleet, which overwhelmed the Zerg at the Vita Defense Line and advanced into the Verner Starfield.
• Lin Tian’s vanguard used Spatial Collapse attacks and Assault Ships to push back the Zerg, while Emil recognized humanity’s advanced technology and offered to betray Alba.
• Lin Tian sent the 101 Special Fleet to seal Alba’s Bug Nest Channel with Spatial Oscillators, and Emil warned Alba that the channel would be destroyed unless he surrendered.
• Alba surrendered, and Lin Fan provided a Phase Prison that safely confined him after Emil persuaded him to enter it.
• Emil told the Federation leaders that Queen Aliya might command more than a hundred Tier 1 Queen Bugs, and Lin Fan proposed using her attachment to Alba to negotiate for time.
• Emil agreed to contact Aliya, and Lin Tian kept the fleet on alert as Aliya arrived in the Kate Galaxy with more than a hundred thousand Queen Bugs and detected the Dauntless Fleet.

The Federation repelled Aliya’s Zerg assault, then negotiated to keep the newly evolved Emil while returning Alba. The Zerg withdrew under a three-hundred-year agreement, leaving Lin Fan to prepare the Mels Star Cluster as a base for future expansion.

• Aliya sent orderly Zerg armies and dozens of Queen Bugs against the Vita Defense Line, but Lin Tian’s forces disrupted their command network and destroyed the disconnected vanguard.
• Lin Yu and Li Lizhi activated the Neutron Battle Star’s Hyperspace Engine, while Lin Tian prepared defenses against Aliya’s Imperial Guard Bugs and hidden Stealth Blade Bugs.
• Lin Kexin’s fleet exposed the Stealth Blade Bugs and used Zero-Point Particle Missiles to inflict heavy losses, prompting Aliya to order a full retreat.
• Emil emerged from his energy cocoon as a humanoid Bug Emperor and agreed to stay with the Federation in exchange for games and an allowance.
• Lin Zhen gave Emil a three-hundred-year Employment Agreement, and Aliya agreed to leave him with the Federation in return for Alba and regular access to Emil through the psychic network.
• Lin Fan arranged Alba’s handover at the Vita Defense Line, where Alba recognized Aliya’s familiar aura before joining the Zerg withdrawal.
• After the Zerg left the Mels Star Cluster, Lin Tian sent half the fleet to search for hidden Zerg while Lin Fan planned to make the cluster a military stronghold.
• Aliya established a camp in the Moras System and ordered Alba to open his mental domain, reminding him that he was only a Quasi-Emperor Bug and must call her Empress.

The Federation developed and regulated Dark Energy technology while Galon escaped Purgatory and began demanding worship and resources. The Federation launched its campaign for the Weisi Star Cluster, where Chris allied with Lance, and Lance began reclaiming the Landon Empire from its nobles.

• Aliya used Alba in experiments for five years, while Wei developed the Psionic Network and Lin Fan arranged a military laboratory to support her research.
• Wei presented DEAC to Federation leaders, and the Federation announced the devices alongside the Superpower Administration Bureau, retaining remote control through a concealed backdoor.
• Galon emerged from Purgatory, claimed authority over the Nilkenia Super Galaxy Cluster, and ordered the destruction of civilizations that refused to worship him.
• Lin Fan chose the Weisi Star Cluster as the Federation's first target because it contained vast Ailuo Metal reserves, and Chris Rhode sent fleets toward the Cassano System.
• The Giant Axe Pirates attacked Sera Star, but the Federation fleet destroyed them, captured Lance's fleet, and occupied the planet.
• Chris agreed to support Lance's bid to overthrow the Landon Empire's nobles in exchange for control of the cluster's Ailuo Metal veins and mining rights.

Lance expanded his control over the Cassano System while the Federation launched an expedition into the Virgo Supercluster. Lin Kexin’s Dauntless Fleet defeated the Italo Union’s forces, bypassed a Time Bubble, and seized the machine controlling temporal effects.

• Lance exposed Osal’s crimes on Rabi Star, held public trials, and prepared to face three Imperial Starfield Fleets.
• Xiwet and Lucas helped Lance defeat the Imperial fleet, while Xiwet surrendered the Conquest Fleet and joined him.
• Lance drew Imperial forces away from Sasala, destroyed Durant Fortress with a Zero-Point Missile, and occupied the capital.
• Lin Fan sent three expeditionary forces into neighboring clusters as Aierfei’s Angel Fleet discovered that the 105th Star Cluster was trapped in a Time Bubble.
• Lin Fan assigned Lin Kexin and the Dauntless Fleet to investigate the Time Bubble, and Resels persuaded the Italo Union Council to attack them.
• Lin Kexin’s fleet routed the United Fleets and destroyed their Stargates, while the Federation’s countermeasures let her forces move through the Time Bubble.
• Resels sent the Union’s forces to defend Holy Land, but Lin Kexin’s fleet reached Sanctuary through Hyperspace Windows and overcame Boris’s defenders.
