Lin Yu’s fleet intervened in the war between Aliya’s Zerg and Hypnos’s Purgatory Legion while investigating the Minor Universe and capturing a Void Predator. Back on Earth, Lin Fan discovered that parasites had compromised key officials and ordered Lin Yu to stage an assault on the Presidential Palace as Operation Defiance.

• Lin Yu led the First Nether Legion into the Cosmic Current, reached the Boötes Void, and used Jiang Feng’s Second Division Fleet to delay Hypnos while the main fleet advanced toward Aliya’s forces.
• Aliya’s Zerg fought Hypnos’s legion, and a Void Predator controlled Bolt and helped inflict heavy losses before the Purgatory forces retreated.
• Lin Yu’s team identified the anomalous region as a Minor Universe, while Jiang Sen’s forces captured Bolt using a staged illusion to draw the Zerg away.
• Wang Hai disguised Bolt as a biological creature and led it through the Chers Current Entrance, allowing the fleet to escape without revealing its involvement to Aliya.
• Lin Fan proposed a temporary alliance with the Zerg against the unknown force in the Viers Supercluster, while Ed urged Mew to support the plan discreetly.
• After Wei’s scanner revealed nearly two thousand parasite-infected people, Lin Fan discovered that Ed and much of the Central Guard Corps’ senior command were compromised.
• Lin Fan ordered Lin Yu to surround Earth and subdue the Central Guard Corps under the cover of a rebellion, naming the operation Operation Defiance.

The Federation seized control of Earth, negotiated Zerg support, and joined Aliya’s forces against the Purgatory Legion. After Lin Yu wounded Hypnos and Wang Hai killed a Purgatory leader, the arrival of Heg’s First Legion near the Boötes Void left the Federation facing a new threat.

• Lin Zhen’s forces secured Earth’s officials and military leaders, while Lin Yu exposed the parasite controlling Brandt and contacted Aliya to demand talks.
• Lin Fan negotiated a deal with Aliya for Zerg territory in exchange for Federation aid, then led an eighty-five-billion-warship fleet toward Chers as Hypnos threatened the city.
• Lin Yu brought the Melova into battle, wounded Hypnos with a Dark Energy attack, and drove him to escape through a spatial passage.
• The Federation and Zerg pursued the retreating Purgatory Legion, and Wang Hai’s concealed Decapitation Fleet killed Ao La and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy.
• Tara opened a teleportation channel for the surviving Purgatory leaders to escape, while Wang Hai and Lin Fan prepared to destroy the remaining clan-level creatures.
• Aliya’s Void Predators attacked the wounded Hypnos at the Boötes Void, but Purgatory leaders freed the possessed creatures and left Hypnos near death.
• Galon sent Heg’s First Legion through a Black Hole Channel, and Heg reached Hypnos and began arranging his recovery.
• Lin Fan established a base in the Sasar Starfield, while Liang Xue sent a reconnaissance ship toward an enormous energy source near the Boötes Void.

Lin Yu advanced to S-Class inside the Zerg Minor Universe while Lin Kexin used Zero-Point Armament to force the Purgatory Legion to retreat. The Federation prepared for the next clash, with Lin Yu back and the Xuanming Mech due to arrive at Lawell.

• Shangguan Youlan’s reconnaissance ship was discovered and crippled by Heg’s long-range attack, but her crew jettisoned most of the ship and pushed its remaining sections through a stargate to the Sasar Starfield.
• After the Feihu’s survivors reported a suspected ninth-order enemy, Lin Fan persuaded Aliya to let Lin Yu enter the Zerg Minor Universe and arranged a mecha-version Dark Energy device for him.
• Lin Yu lived among the Tarak Tribe on Lancer, helped defend it from a Beast Tide, and reached S-Class when Zi Ling was fatally injured and his Dark Energy awakened.
• Lin Kexin’s fleet struck the Purgatory Legion and the Zerg with Zero-Point Armament, killing many lower-order creatures but failing to seriously harm the suspected ninth-order Heg.
• Lin Yu healed Zi Ling and the wounded Tarak people, then returned to Lancer a year later and gave the tribe basic technology and a warning device before taking Zi Ling with him.
• Lin Kexin used repeated Zero-Point Bomb attacks and staged missile strikes to make Heg withdraw, while coordinating with the Zerg to pursue the retreating Purgatory Legion.
• Lin Fan’s fleet reached Lawell as the Xuanming Mech neared completion, and Lin Yu told Lin Kexin that his evolved body let him use Dark Energy without an auxiliary device.

Lin Yu and humanity used Dark Energy weapons and Zero-Point Bombs to break the Purgatory Legion’s advance at Lawell and Chers. Heige died at Chers, but sent Galon part of its memories, while Wei arrived to investigate traces of Black Hole Energy.

• Lin Yu received Wei’s enormous Xuanming Mech, struggled to control it, and then used its Dark Energy cannon to kill Black Armor Norton.
• Lin Yu and Lin Fan launched Operation Four, combining Zero-Point Missiles, Dark Energy attacks, and Zero-Point Bombs to devastate Heg’s forces at Lawell.
• Heg retreated into the Cosmic Current with the injured Douglas, while Lin Fan’s fleets destroyed more Purgatory creatures emerging at Lawell.
• At Chers, Wang Hai deployed Spatial Dark Energy Resonance Devices that drained Heg and the remaining Purgatory forces, though the system’s instability threatened the fleet.
• Douglas and the other Leader-class creatures died as Heg’s energy was drained, and Wang Hai detonated a Zero-Point Missile to destroy his flagship and end the Resonance Field.
• Lin Yu launched the Xuanming Mech and killed Heg with the Inductive Dark Energy Compression Cannon, whose destructive energy spread through Heg’s body.
• Before dying, Heige sent Galon part of its memories, and Lin Fan ordered the fleets to investigate the arrival site as Wei reached it aboard the Bailan.
