The once-quiet mansion was now in chaos, thick smoke billowing everywhere. The blaze had already consumed the front half of the villa, and amid the flames, the relentless clangor of fierce battle rang out.
"Damn it, the phone lines have been cut, and the signal's been jammed."
Stephanie shouted loudly. She had originally wanted to call for help, but that was clearly impossible now.
More than a dozen Talons doused in gasoline flailed wildly. They had become human torches, and the raging flames even obscured their vision. Everything before them was scarlet, and they could not see their enemies at all.
These Talons had also set other objects inside the villa ablaze, turning the entire living room into a ball of fire.
"Ah!"
While everyone else retreated, Bridget screamed and charged into the Talons. Twin dragons of flame spewed wildly. The fire might block her eyes, but it could not block her Heat Vision—especially not more than a dozen humanoid figures glowing red-violet.

A dagger shot straight toward Ivy on the second floor, while a tall Talon lunged at her.
Ivy hurriedly stepped back to dodge the dagger. With a buzz, the blade buried itself deep in the wood, viciously piercing a mahogany pillar.
"Don't run!"
The Talon hooked an arm and sprang upward, catching up to Ivy in a few strides. He drew the Katana from his back and slashed at her neck.
Ivy quickly ducked. With a sharp crack, the Katana shattered the enormous vase in the hallway, sending the snake plant inside tumbling to the floor.
At the sight of the plant, Ivy was overjoyed. Her consciousness instantly entered the snake plant, and in the blink of an eye, its leaves turned into sharp, serrated swords that pierced through the Talon and
