Nightwing clutched his chest and spat out blood. The sudden explosion had caught him at the center of it; even with his formidable physique, his internal organs had been ruptured, and he could not stop coughing up blood.
His condition was terrible, and the others were no better off. Red Robin, Damian, Stephanie, and Red Hood all grimaced in pain.
The Talons who had been fighting them inside the house were in much the same state. However, Talons possessed powerful regenerative abilities. As long as they had not died on the spot, they could recover within minutes.
Only Ivy and Firefly were in slightly better shape. They had been farther from the blast and suffered much less of its impact, but their blood still churned, and breathing was difficult.
