Background / History

Little Mo was a Knight of the Round Table whose face is identical to Artoria's. She carries her mother's obsession and once held deeply conflicted feelings toward Artoria, whom she calls “Father King.” During her life as a knight, she rarely removed her helmet because of their resemblance. 216 288

She claimed to have sought the throne in order to prove that she, too, could draw the Sword of Selection, though Artoria rejected the idea that this alone would make her a qualified king. 216 Her past fixation on warfare left her feeling empty; in her later life as a Heroic Spirit, she resolves to live differently. 288

As a Berserker, her madness initially makes her irrational enough that Luo Yifang worries she could destroy the Tohsaka residence if she awakens without a contract. 202 She is later summoned again under Luo Yifang during another Holy Grail War and immediately objects to being assigned the Berserker class. 203

Fifth Holy Grail War

Resummoned as Berserker by Luo Yifang, Little Mo follows him into Fuyuki City and eagerly anticipates combat. 203 205 Her central confrontation is a renewed battle with Artoria, driven by her unresolved resentment toward “Father King.” 213

Luo Yifang's mana supply gives her a decisive advantage over Artoria, allowing Little Mo to exhaust Artoria's magic power and wound her with her treasure artifact. 215 Later, Little Mo openly condemns Artoria for sacrificing herself for others without living for herself. 243 Artoria ultimately self-destructs her Spirit Core so Little Mo can experience the life she lacked. 244
