More accurately, it did not even count as betrayal. From beginning to end, neither the Alpha Kingdom nor the Three Central Continent Kingdoms had recognized the legitimacy of the Warhammer government-in-exile.
Even if they had elected a king, established an organization for national restoration, and possessed legitimate inheritance rights, it meant nothing.
